I’ve been to this establishment a few times and if you like pastrami and chili, you probably enjoy your meal here. My opinion just a little bit too expensive, but with the amount of the food they give you. It’s probably worth it. The workers are friendly and courteous and you get your meal in no time the pastrami is good and so is the chili. I’ve ordered a few different food items and they’re all good. The structure is fairly sized plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal inside or outside dining . There’s plenty of parking with a handicap stalls near the entrance.

This has been a go to place in my family for years. I now live out of state and every time I come back, it is always a visit to The Hat! The pastrami is always amazing. Food is made to order, never had a bad meal here.

Pretty unimpressed the meat quality was subpar at at best the the fries were soggy and moist without flavor and low quantity. The onion rings were decent but portion sizes were very small for the price.

Ever since I was a young whipper snapper I’ve been going to the hat. Whether it was riding bikes as a kid (8-14yrs old)with a group of friends and putting our money together for chili fries to share, or hanging out with my father and uncle (with pastrami dips) for a “good ole dine in” as they would say. It has always been a pleasure and has always been the same taste/quality (knock on wood) I hope and pray it never changes.

We ordered chili cheese fries with pastrami and turkey avocado sandwich to share which is so yummy! We have always had a pleasant experience eating at the hat because they have plenty of parking, friendly employees, clean tables, clean bathrooms and delicious food. We live about 30 minutes away, but it is always worth the drive!

Everything was very tasty! Onion rings our my wife’s and I favorite spot to get them from. The pastrami fries are heavy yes, but we’ll worth it when you’re hungry. The burger is surprisingly great for a pastrami restaurant! And the pastrami sandwich always is on point! if you haven’t tried it, we’ll try it you won’t be disappointed!

The Hat is one of our favorite places to eat at when we are on Upland! We have so many favorites. The fries and onion rings are huge and plenty for a group to share. The lady taking the orders is crazy and mean though!! She was barking at both customers and her coworkers. She was intense! Great food as always though so don’t let her intimidate you!

Finally made it out to this eatery. Pastrami was more than enough! It was a little dry. Sandwich had good flavor overall. The fries were piping hot! Did need done salt and onions. Service was super quick. The place filled up quick after we arrived!
