The lobster rolls were so good with large chunks of lobster. We also tried the lobster and corn fritters and they tasted like a funnel cake batter, they were really good! The service was fast and friendly and the ambience of the restaurant was really cool.

Went here for brunch, great atmosphere, small restaurant. I would call ahead for reservations. The day we went the inside was booked. We had to eat outside or at the bar. The seafood quiche was outstanding. The Bloody Mary was very spicy. Restaurant worth checking out.

Fantastic experience all the way around! Super friendly staff and super efficient service. Hands down the best burger I’ve had in 10 years. The fish spread was both delicious and beautifully served. My side of fries were perfectly cooked and unseasoned as I had requested. Friend I was with had been before and this was my first time. Will absolutely go back very soon! Plenty of parking on a Saturday afternoon as well.

I absolutely love this place. Beautiful North Carolina aesthetic inside and out, you feel like you are dining at a cottage in the summertime. Fresh seafood and food market in addition to their restaurant. Their menu is delicious, the food is so good. This is a perfect place to go for lunch, brunch, or an early dinner. Though the prices are on the higher side, you absolutely get quality in terms of amount and taste with what you pay. $30 for a lobster roll and you get a good sized sandwich with chunks of lobster meat, not majority lettuce base. $8 for ice cream but you get a container that is essentially 2 scoops worth of FRESH delicious churned dessert. This is more than what can be said for other places who charge the same amount or higher even and you get very little in both quality and quantity for what you pay. Service has always been great as well for me and my husband coming here. Great addition to St Pete Beach.

On a recent spontaneous drive, we decided to stop by The Helm for a meal. As we walked in, we noticed that the restaurant was only serving from their brunch menu, which is a subset of their main menu. However, this didn’t deter us from giving it a try.

They know what they’re doing here! Start to finish, cocktail and brunch was superb. Super nice people, too. The seafood quality OMG is amazing. You must try the Lobster Roll. Fresh and cooked perfectly, it’s served with a subtle key lime butter aioli…and listen kids, it’s out-of-this-world deelicious! Also, the Oysters Rockefeller was a 10/10. The spinach & melted cheese combined with plump mollusks were simply the best we’ve tasted. This right here is a top-tier establishment!

Food was amazing, waitress was awesome & the esthetic was awesome. Overall well executed. I ordered the Italian Sub which came out in a cigar box, which was pretty neat. The mixes of oils complimented the toppings As a whole. $13 for the sandwich, I would buy this again. I also had their strawberry margarita which was fantastic & refreshing. Definitely try this place!
