Amazing brunch options and bottomless mimosas for $19.99!!!! I am legit obsessed with this place. This was my first time in Boca and the Hen and the Hog made me feel very welcome and the food was scrumptious! They have a great breakfast menu and even better lunch menu (lunch starts later). Monica was such an amazing server and she was so much fun! She recommended a few things and also told me about the bottomless mimosas which were such a steal.

This place is AWESOME! My pregnant wife is a fantastic cook and is very tough to please food-wise, and we LOVE this place. We’ve been here twice already and they simply don’t miss! Everything has been delicious. Our server, Daisy, is super friendly each time we’ve come. And the southern style atmosphere is eclectic and a nice departure from the rat race of Boca. We emphatically agree—this is our new favorite breakfast spot. Make sure to check it out!

I’ve driven by 1000 times and always wanted to go in but it’s usually later in the day and they close at 3. Yesterday I found myself driving by at 2:30 and my husband and I were hungry. This was the best scratch kitchen I’ve been to. Food was fantastic. We shared a burger and brisket platter. Portions are big and we could have shared one, but everything was so delicious nothing was left on either plate! Shout out to the chef who is amazing and a big shout out to the staff who make you feel so welcome. Loved everything here… can’t wait to go back.

Found a new honey hole in east Boca, the Hen and the Hog has always been one of our breakfast havens on the weekends at the Pompano location. We had the chance to check out the new location on Federal Highway in Boca for lunch and “How y’all doing Boca hot spot”. I don’t want to post this because I don’t want to lose a great spot for in and out lunch from an amazing friendly staff serving up some great sandwiches. We have been splitting our sandwiches so we can both taste two and compare flavor. We rolled with the Pulled pork sandwich that had great smoke on the meat “sweet and smoky” with coleslaw and a warm bun. The pork was on point with smoke but the coleslaw needed more crunch. The Boca best chicken sandwich was on point, crispy bacon with perfectly fried chicken breast that had crunchy breading served with a nice sauce on a fresh bun. The staff was next level and the food amazing, we will add the joint to our lunch place rotation. Would also like to give a big thanks to our server Monica for the sample of the corn crab bisque “it’s off the hook”!

Nightmare Landlords
So after decades of a hospitality career, I can safely say that this was the most pleasant surprise since moving to Florida. Atmosphere meticulously decorated, food exceptional and balanced with generous portions. Service was right on point and there was nothing off putting at all.. This is a chef driven concept, not a cook owned place. Well done and I will be back.
