Absolutely delicious but really expensive. Understandably so, I suppose for the quality. Loved the classic lobster roll. We asked to have it warmed up and it was perfect. We also had a lobster roll flight. Portions on both were very good. The sauces we chose were the standard butter, lime Mayo, and garlic Mayo. The lime Mayo was light and refreshing. Garlic Mayo was creamy and a bit heavier. Buttered was just ok. I liked the other sauces better. Would definitely go back to try the other kinds!

First time visitor from Texas. I ordered the lobster roll and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE. One of the tastiest meals I have ever eaten. It’s not cheap at 28 bucks, but it’s 4 Oz of spectacular lobster. Truly a treat to yourself. I ordered three oysters as well, and they were awesome as well. Great service. The people were very friendly and recommended a few spots i check out in town. Maine Lobster…the hype is real!

Get ready to stuff your face! Be prepared to “shell out” some bucks (pun intended). We had a hard time picking just one item off the menu. This was our third trip to HR so we decided to double down. We’ll worth the price of admission. The lime mayo is (chef’s kiss).. I got the cheese taco but the cheese was slightly soft so it didn’t crunch as much as I hoped. Still would get it again though. If you’re looking for raw oysters, the bar has some locally sourced offerings.

Great vibe and decor – very clean…upbeat and helpful staff… The lobster roll was delicious with the recommended jalapeno lime mayo and lobster ghee… Oysters were shocked perfectly and the minionet interpretation was serranos was great! On the price your side but overall really great experience!!

Everything about this place is awesome, even the music was on point. We had a lobster grilled cheese, sweet potato fries, will be pie and lobster roll. The jalapeño and pineapple mayo was incredible. One of the best lobster rolls I had in Maine, and will be returning the staff was very friendly.

High roller lobster Co. In Portland was an amazing find. This place is extremely well known and serves up a variety of delicious bites. Known for their locally caught lobster, I promise you won’t be disappointed. I came here recently and completely fell in love. Look for the red and white stripes with a mob of people out front, and you will know you are at the correct place. We needed seating for 4 and we didn’t wait long. We were able to get a table in the back patio area. For a drink, I chose the classic margarita in a bucket. Tasty! We got the baker’s dozen of oysters for the table as an appetizer. 3 different types of oysters locally sourced in Maine. It also came with 2 mignonettes and your classic cocktail sauce. All were fantastic! I went with the lobster roll flight for my meal, and it did not disappoint. It came with 3 mini lobster rolls, and you choose your sauce. I went with the drawn butter, garlic mayo, and charred pineapple mayo. Literally SPEECHLESS! The rolls were savory, buttered, and grilled to a nice golden brown. Added to the rolls was just a touch of shredded lettuce, topped with lobster and your sauces of choice. My favorite was the drawn butter! The garlic mayo was also super flavorful and put a nice twist on your standard mayo. The charred pineapple added a sweetness and was also delish. I will definitely be back here to enjoy another lobster roll flight because I cannot stop thinking about it!

This place is incredible. Really liked being able to order online and the outdoor patio was great. I can’t imagine there’s a better place for lobster in Portland, between the lobster roll flight, lobster/cheese taco, bisque, and other indulgent menu items. [insert ‘shut up and take my money’ gif]

I’m not exactly sure what the theme is but it seems like a classic diner style joint. Everything about the aesthetic repelled me but it had good reviews so I went for it! The bartender who waited on me was very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the lobster grilled cheese and french fries but it seemed very overpriced ($33 for what seemed 2-3oz max of lobster). Also, the fried food is done in a separate area, which I appreciated, but my fries came out well after I had finished my grilled cheese

Portland in general has amazing food, but Highroller has us wanting to come back to Portland asap! We LOVED the lobster grilled cheese and highroller burger. The lobster lolipop was just okay. The sauces though… don’t skimp on the sauces. They are so flavorful and amazing.
