If you’re like me, you’ve probably driven by The Hip Cafe a million times and thought, “I wonder if that place is any good?”. I finally went in a few weeks back and…wow! This is now my new favorite coffee shop and lunch spot in NWA. It is a vegan focused cafe with amazing coffee and coffee drinks, meatless takes on cafe staples, and some of the best pastries and sweets I’ve ever had. The date bar, banana chocolate chip muffin, and the blueberry lemon loaf are my top 3. The breakfast burrito is a home run and I love the whole bean coffee they sell for my home drip machine. The atmosphere and the service are excellent as well. They have a drive thru window and covered out door seating too! The owner really thought of everything and paid attention to all the details. I worked for Starbucks building new stores and they could learn a thing or two from The Hip Cafe. To top it all off, it is named after one of my all-time favorite bands – The Tragically Hip! I’m pretty sure if you give this place a try, it will become your go-to spot as well.

So happy to have found this little gem in south Fayetteville. Vegan sandwiches were delicious (we tried the Cuban and Turkey) and cold brews with oat milk were divine. Cool idea to give patrons 10% off their order if they bike to the cafe. Will definitely be back again if we are in the area!

I just ate there for the first time, but it won’t be my last. I had a veg-head (?) sandwich and peanut butter cookie, which were both absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. Quiet, clean atmosphere. I will be back, definitely! Thank you.

We enjoy The Hip very much! They have great coffee, sandwiches and treats. Vegan options! A variety of plant milk options. Excellent outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Friendly staff. I’m not a latte drinker but tasted one a family member got because it smelled so good – and it was amazing! The Friday specials are always very tasty! The vegan baked goods are amazing.

We had the vegan Reuben sandwich, Tuno wrap and pumpkin spice latte. Everything tasted amazing and quality was excellent. Our sandwiches came with chips, cookie and pickle. Highly recommend giving this spot a try. Also the staff were so friendly and warm. Such a comfortable atmosphere with delicious options!

I rarely drink coffee. Staff and atmosphere was friendly to me not knowing what to order. Drink was tasty despite me being at the mercy of the barista. Straw is paper but still sturdy, does not get soggy and gross like other paper straws, I appreciate this very much. Environmentally conscious and thorough accommodation to dietary restrictions are things I typically associate with high prices and small portions — this does not appear to fit here.

This is my favorite vegan friendly cafe to eat at and basically the only place to have vegan breakfast. The food is filling and delicious and the bakery items are especially tasty. Friendly service and nice vibe all around.

This was my first visit! They were so patient and answered all my questions and concerns. They went out of their way to make sure all the utensils used to make my chai tea (which was delicious by the way) were throughly washed before beginning.
