What a gorgeous restaurant! My friend and I went there recently and we were blown away by it all. The prices are pretty high, so sadly it’s not a place we’d come back to often, but the food and drinks are top notch and worth the occasional splurge. We were both very happy with everything we got. I highly recommend trying the Sakura beer, it was delightful and tasted like a light soda or a sparkling juice (it was happy hour, so I got a 2-for-1. The okonomiyaki was heavenly. My friend got the Sacred Cow burger and I got the shrimp and lobster cheese ramen. Then for dessert we shared a slice of the ganache chocolate cake. 100/10 on the delicious scale.

Funky in the best possible sense. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, like a Hobbit burrow combined with your favorite tavern. Service was excellent – friendly and informative. Food was equally good – the beet salad was surprisingly large and filling, and the sweet potato soup had a nice kick I wasn’t expecting. We didn’t get a cocktail but the drink menu is full of intriguing and unorthodox combinations. A lot to like, and a lot to keep you on your toes. A solid combination

This was my 2nd attempt to dine at Hip-Stir, I have seen so many photos on their Facebook page that look amazingly delicious and the atmosphere looked intriguing. Unfortunately, the first time was after a late night at work and we were seated around 9 and given a menu, but then told the kitchen was actually closed.

I can’t rate the food because didn’t get a chance to eat. Was a little before 2:30pm on a Friday. They had a few tables but I had seen them busier. Took a couple minutes to be seated. No problem that was expected. I did walk away as soon as we were seated for a restroom but my husband stayed at the table. They did come back with water but did not take a drink order. They never came back. The person who seated was pleasant so was who I assume was the server. We were there a total of 20 minutes and received minimal service. Atmosphere was nice, seemed a bit pricey but if the food was good I wouldn’t have complained spending what they were asking. On the other hand for the prices of their food and the type of atmosphere they were going for I would think their service would’ve been more on point.

This bar is upbeat, unique, fast, different and fun. They have a pretty big selection of speciality/fun cocktails as well as common favorites. The staff was talkative and friendly. It’s nice to see such a different type of vibe in Marion. It was much needed. I would highly recommend and I will be coming back. I highly suggest the Front and Center Mule.

Great atmosphere and happy hour, 2 for 1 on all beverages! We did not eat dinner but the menu looked great. Lots of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Our waitress was very friendly. We will come back 100%!
