Went here for dinner, service was slow as always but it’s not a fast food joint so it is what it is. Had to go ask for the check, check arrived, gave them payment and they charged more than the check was. When asked about it they said we forgot to put stuff on your bill. They didn’t explain that in the beginning, just tried to sneak it on without us noticing. Can’t charge someone more than the check, that’s called fraud. When trying to explain to the waitress, she got an attitude with the rest of them and said well I’ll get a manager. The manager shows up with profanity on her shirt and says I don’t see what the problem is, and also has an attitude. Cook is a five star cook, food was amazing as always, but as far as the manager and some of the wait staff, they have given me a reason to never return to that establishment.

I usually tend to shy away from restaurants that are part of the hotel. My general experience has been that they tend not to be as good as competing restaurants in the same price category. Probably because they don’t need to be and their audience is captive. This is one that I am very glad that I tried.

The service was good. Atmosphere is nice but relaxed, which we liked. Our food was great, especially the entrees! He got a steak that was cooked and seasoned perfectly and didn’t even need any steak sauce!! I would highly recommend the elk medallions with blackberry red wine sauce! It was also cooked and seasoned perfectly and the sauce was delicious with it! We will definitely go back.
