The Hive recently began brunch and it is my new favorite brunch place in Woodland! Diverse menu and the three things we got exceeded expectations! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food came out very quickly despite multiple orders ahead of us. After our meal the chef checked in with us too. Great experience all around!

Enjoyed a free varietal tasting of honey from Hawaii, Idaho, Northwest (Oregon) and California. Fresh water provided to clear the palette. Brought home one of their ciders but will return for one of their beer, mead and cider tastings or light bites.

We came for brunch and had a delightful time! The outdoor space is beautiful, and the food was delicious. I had “The Sammich,” and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. The staff were friendly and attentive.

I found out through this place that there are so many different types of honey. When you visit this place, you can taste various flavors of honey and you will be able to find one that suits your taste. Looking at the neatly displayed honey, you can infer the taste from the various names. Their friendly explanations will help you understand. On my next visit, I would like to try the restaurant here.

Stopped in, looking for information on co-packing my honey. I was totally blown away by the amazing decor, service, and facilities here. Can’t wait to bring my wife for dinner and some music.

I was looking for a place to eat with outdoor seating area and stumbled across this gem. Place was actually a tasting room with a surprisingly variety of food choices. I like that they have vegetarian choices as well.

Must do if you’re in the area! There is a whole variety of things to experience, not least of which is honey tasting. The mead exceeded expectations, and farm-to-table seasonal food options are delicious. It’s an eco-friendly, family owned business with a neat history. They also have a nice outdoor setting with live music on some weekends. Highly recommend!

Off the beaten path wonderful gem in sleepy Woodland, CA. Mediterranean style platters to share and a variety of meads to drink. Retail shop sells mead and honey. Indoor/Outdoor lunch dining weekdays as noted. Dinner on Saturday. Menu online on their website. My wife and I shared the Cheese platter and the Heirloom tomato Burrata platter (Yummy!!)

I love the honey but I don’t think the business allow for a sampling of the mead based upon their limited hours. A 5pm closing on a Friday prevents a TGIF. I tried to redeem the free appetizer coupon but everytime I went it was not possible to redeem the coupon. I will continue to get there for my honey because I love the Coriander and Buckwheat honey…but my schedule does not match when the mead is being served.
