The Hive is an absolutely wonderful place to wine and dine. The servers and bartenders are amazing, the owners incredible and it will give you just a little taste of that old Saint Charles. Went to the Drag Brunch at this location and had the best time anyone could ever hope for. Will be coming back again and again and again

Was in Illinois for a conferance and just happend to chose the Hive by chance. Its a humble Tavern, and a laid back atmosphere, which I appreciate. Hands down literally the best Ruben sandwich I have ever had!!! Service was great, friendly and prompt. If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

Have been here a couple times and the food has been phenomenal, service has been good to excellent. It is basically a sports bar, and we don’t drink or watch sports, so that aspect is meaningless to us. Lots of people there who are clearly regular patrons and know each other. Accept that it will be loud.

Enjoyed my visit here. Food never disappoints. The portobello fries are fantastic. Nice selection of beer on tap. Must try the old fashioned which was carefully crafted by our bartender. It’s more of a quiet and elevated scene vs the surrounding bars.

Wonderful little restaurant & bar! Had delicious wings, fries & a drink which all tasted freshly prepared and cooked to order. Felicia was my waitress and she took great care of me, not hovering and bugging me but watchful and prompt instead. I’ll definitely go back, maybe for Musical Bingo!!!!

Everyone is snoozing on this place! The western burger and homemade chips were delicious! My husband loved “The Stinger”. They have a great selection of local beers on draft as well as your typical favorites. Try the vodka shots by 3 Olives. The Cherry is great! The wait staff was friendly and we paid less than going to other popular places. If you want delicious and affordable go to The Hive.
