Paid around $14 for a quart of “ham and bean” soup only to find out that there was not any ham in it and the beans were hard. One of the best parts of Honey Baked Ham’s soup is the way it usually melts in your mouth with big giant bits of delicious ham in it. We were given stale crackers too!

I love honey baked ham. I just don’t understand why they turn off the oven at 530 pm when they close at 6pm. We got there at 530pm and couldn’t get a sandwich. Very frustrating going there and not being able to get what you want. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. Why can’t they turn the oven off at 550pm so they can make their customers happy. I just don’t get it.

I was completely surprised by my experience at this store yesterday…the day before Thanksgiving. The line was just a bit out the door when I arrived, so I was not expecting this to be nothing more than standing in line with uncourteous people with some cold customer service. However, to my surprise everyone was so kind, the samples were yummy, the service was fast and very courteous, and I got to watch a little Food Network while I was waiting, which was not long at all. I left the store feeling happy…not even kidding. I’m counting this among my Thanksgiving things to be grateful for! See you at Christmas!!

Check your ham before you leave. Purchased on Christmas Eve. Opened on Christmas Day only to find that the glaze was hard as a brick and not connected to the ham. I couldn’t even break it up with my fingers. Christmas dinner officially ruined. The yummy glaze is the reason most folks buy the ham. I called and left a message the morning of 12/26; waited for almost 3 hours, no return call. I called the store, spoke with the manager who asked me to clarify what I meant repeatedly as if he didn’t believe me. Was told to bring the ham back to see if anything can be done. I did not because I didn’t appreciate the manner in which my phone call was handled. We’ve been customers for a long time but this was the last time I will purchase a $56 ham with glaze as hard as cement on the side.
