We ate outside and got great service! Karissa is an amazing waitress she helped with figuring out what our 7 children would like because we had never been there before, most of which chose the Monte Cristo lunch special which taste just like the fair! Their food was delicious and we will definitely be going again! Highly recommend! Great and clean service and great atmosphere! Thank you again Karissa for making our experience that much better!

This local gem is worth stopping in for! We met some friends here for dinner and we are sooo glad we did!! We started with the cheese curds that were the absolute best! My husband and I both ordered the Cuban sandwich and our friends ordered a pulled pork plate, all of which were delicious! They have a full bar and several signature drinks. I tried the firefly which was not only pretty but delicious as well. The restaurant has a very cool vibe and the decor is retro country. Our waitress Whitney was the absolute best! She was very attentive but also friendly and actually took time to talk to us during our time at the restaurant. She made sure we had what we needed and made sure our visit was the best. We will definitely come back to The Hoot Nannie and when we do we will request Whitney’s section!

So so good!! Excellent, friendly service! Valerie took great care of us! Hate that we live out of town. This would def be a place we’d visit again and again. We want to try all the yummy food! We will make a point to swing back by when we pass thru again!! The cheese curds were gone before I could even snap a pic!

3 stars because there really wasn’t anything special about the food. I ordered the catfish and honestly was not a fan of the batter and the fish was bland. The fried pickles were actually pretty good but overall nothing stood out to me.

Chicken fried chicken , mac and cheese , the petite sirloin steak, the salads , cheese curds, all great, the only thing that was not great, was the mashed potatoes. They were awful. They weren’t white and creamy, they were sort of gray/brown, under all the gravy. The gravy was good tho.

Karissia was very nice and made sure we had plenty of refills! The food was amazing! I am from St. Louis and came to visit and this is definitely the best bbq I’ve had. The Cuban was 10/10. Paid about $40 for 2 appetizers and 2 meals

We started with a couple signature cocktails which were FABULOUS! We had the pimiento cheese burger & texas bbq melt for lunch & both were off the charts delicious. The homemade ranch & fries were a MUST! The atmosphere is energetic, even at lunch time, & all 3 workers we encountered were beyond helpful! Shout out to Kevin & Valerie! The best! Will be on our list of routine weekend stops from now on!

Food was great, service was exceptional and price was decent. We got the cheese curds- fresh, hot, stringy and delicious. The prime rib was cooked perfect, salad is huge, the whole hog tailgate and fries with slaw was great. Not sure when others went that complained about service, but I can say tonight they were on top of it. Excellent service. We drove an hour to try it and will go back again.
