No milkshakes anymore! On a sunny Sat the cook / owner? seemed shocked and upset that people kept coming in asking for shakes. No shakes here! He said seeming upset that we would ask. He told the last ones who asked, if anyone asked again they were done for the night. Wow. Does he not know that Hot Bite was THE place for shakes? Idk, not anymore, I guess. The burgers were pretty good. The fries Amazing!! Get the fries! Small menu options. View the usual spectacular! Just don’t ask for milkshakes, whatever you do!!!

Brought a group of 8 for lunch today. Tim was amazing and handled our large and complex order with ease. The food came out together and was hot, fresh, and tasted great! Tim’s personality represented Alaska well to a group from Louisiana and Florida.

Update: 2023.06.04 The place is now runned by different people and is now called The Harbor Bite. The day visited, a lot of items were not available. The chef has what it takes to make his food tasty. The Grilled Rock Fish Sandwich, fries, clam chowder was on the thin, watery side much more of a soup than a chowder, all well seasoned, tasted excellent.
