First time trying this place. I was not disappointed! My daughter had a chicken wrap with fries. I say “fries”, but they were basically potatoes that were cut lengthwise with sea salt, and they were awesome. I tried their cheeseburger philly, and let me say, I don’t know how I ate it. Yes, it was a large portion, but also I think I had to unhinge my jaw like a snake just to bite this sandwich! If you order a sandwich, go ahead and plan on eating some of it with a fork. I also had the fried green tomatoes, which were also impressive! Cozy outdoor dining, and a menu that will make you want to come back, time after time, so you can try something else!

We were passing through Washington, GA and were looking for somewhere to eat. We didn’t want the usual fast food, so we just googled places and The Hot Box popped up, so we decided to give it a try. It’s a good truck that has a permanent location. There is parking near it and they have built a bathroom there also. They also have several tables with umbrellas on their deck for eating. They have plenty of options to choose from… We had an oyster poboy and a Philly cheese steak and were not disappointed. They flavors were great. And the service was amazing. We didn’t have a long wait and they were really friendly. 10/10 recommend stopping there if you are in the area.

My first time there. I ordered a “Steak Burger” with Pimento Cheese and Chili. It was a frozen burger patty with pimento cheese and something on top of it with some frozen potato wedges. It all tasted frozen too. I would wait till they got their alcohol license and then go. Maybe after a few drinks it would taste like something.

Wishing them the best but the tacos barbeque style were so bad I ate only one of the two served. Sickening sweet and the meal with no beverage but with a fish sandwich cost just over $34.00. terrible. Never again.

Great food at this little spot. One of the only places for lunch on Mondays in Washington. We were in town to visit family and the 8 of us so enjoyed the food here. It is a little food truck/trailer sort of setup with an attached outdoor dining deck with umbrellas and fan. We had delicious fried shrimp, fried oysters, burgers, excellent potato wedge fries. One of us had a salad which was fine dining gourmet level good. The egg roll appetizers must have been good, they disappeared in a flash : (
