We needed a quick fill up on the way to the airport and came across this place. It’s a basic good food restaurant. Nothing fancy, but nothing is missing. Big menu. Excellent hot dogs with just the suggestion of being smoked. Fast service. Bonus points for having Cherry Coke. Good parking. Great location. Recommend.

Best burger I’ve had in my life. I love Hot Dog King so much the ingredients are fresh and delicious and they be putting a lil extra love in those burgers to make them taste so good. Hotdogs are fuego as well I usually buss down on a double bacon cheeseburger and a chili dog. Crazy combo it goes so good together.

Just had my first 2 dogs from Hot Dog King and I was very pleased, they were delicious! I got a pic of the fries but the dogs went too quick This is a small unassuming place with quite an expansive menu, things like burgers, dogs, corndogs, and fries, however they also offer things like gyros, cheese steaks, ribeye sandwiches, and flounder sandwiches. Another thing I have never seen before, you can get a half and half side of fries and rings.. who does that?! That’s awesome! While this was my first visit, it will most certainly not be my last. Great food, very friendly staff.. great work HDK!

These little side of the Road Shacks are everywhere in Buncombe County.. been to a few.. Always gotten Hotdogs. But this trip I got the double bacon Cheese Burger.. That Burger had some juice to it.. and heft.. torn between HotDog King and Culver’s for my next DBCB craving.
