We have the best lunch on the beach! Homemade hot dogs, sides, and desserts. Everything is made from scratch grandma style. We craft our own wieners using 100% beef brisket that we grind in house daily, adding only a few naturally seasonings. All sides are home made, and the rolls are baked from scratch!

Was sitting on the beach and was looking for something to have for lunch and The Hot Dog came up. Decided to give it a shot for a quick bite to eat. Place was very easy to find. Place has a small counter to sit at and also some tables inside with plenty of outdoor seating.

I had heard awesome reviews and had to try their hot dogs. My diet mainly consists of fruits and veggies. It’s been at least 7 years, since I’ve had a hot dog. I must say it was worth venturing off my typical diet. I ordered the Nacho Dog which has jalapeños, onions, and shredded cheddar cheese. I was impressed with the quality, taste and even with their customer service. Since the hot dogs are made fresh daily with ground sirloin and the buns are baked each morning, I’m not feeling too guilty! They also offer fresh made sides and desserts. Try it… you will thank me later!

I am a local and can say great dogs! Hotdog was delicious and with the homemade buns and fresh ingredients, you really can’t beat it! My husband and I both got a Reuben and a Nacho thinking I could eat both but they were huge. We will be back!

Because of all the hype that this place has been getting I decided to try it. Hot dogs may have been homemade but they had horrible texture and taste and the bun was big enough to put two hot dogs on. I don’t like that much bread. The chili was basically beans and possibly, may have had a little meat in it, red and oily.

We went for dogs – drove from Surfside Beach and it was well worth the ride. I’m from a hot dog capital (New Castle PA) and I’m always in search of the best dog. This place makes everything on site, you won’t be disappointed. Had the chili dog and it was loaded with chili and the bun was super fresh and baked that day. By the way, the owner has a PGH connection, his grandfather had a restaurant in North Versailles PA.

Fantastic little hot dog place. So cheap but nothing sacrificed in quality. $5 dogs (dogs and buns made fresh daily), and add drink + side + dessert for $1 more total. Absolutely cannot be beat. Awesome and friendly staff, quick service, clean interior. The dogs taste great, as do the buns. Easy and plentiful parking. I highly recommend checking this place out.
