Stopped after a conference at The Greenbrier. Sat outside and enjoyed a pizza called The Diana (house tomato sauce, house cheese blend, pepperoni, Angelo’s sausage, portabello mushrooms, red onion and kalamata olives) and a small Caesar salad. Service was EXCELLENT and food was delicious. Highly recommend and will return!

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Our waiter Jordan was most attentive. We sat on the porch overlooking the colored umbrellas and into the vibrant downtown area. It was a perfect evening. Next time I have to save room for the cannolis. They looked fabulous.

Only had 24 hours in Lewisburg, and I’m happy I chose to stop here for lunch! I got to choose the option of sitting outside in these cute red chairs, and it was a beautiful view & experience! I ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap, with the tomato soup and a coke! Everything was so yummy 🙂 The hostess and waitress who helped me (6/23/23) were so kind!! thank you ❤️

Great spot. Loved the whole experience. The food and service was amazing though it took an overly long long time to arrive and they didn’t seem crazy busy. My Bloody Mary hit the spot and I totally recommend the Shrimp & Grits. There Chicken & Waffles looked tasty as well! Anyone traveling through Lewisburg and want a Sunday brunch should definitely take in the whole experience of The Humble Tomato. Cheers!

Best pizza I ever tasted, enjoyed outside on the patio while listening to the Carpenter Ants play live at Carnegie Hall. I had the Blue Sulphur: gorgonzola, bits of prosciutto, thin shavings of Brussels sprouts for texture, and a drizzle of hot honey over oven-fired bubbly crust. We also had another special, plus plain and pepperoni. We were uniformly amazed by the quality of the crust and the flavor of the homemade sauce. Nice variety of local craft beers and ciders; I had the arugula gimlet, a refreshing summer cocktail. Our server was nice and she tried hard but she was forgetful and slow. Even so, that did not dampen our experience and we appreciated her nonetheless. We will definitely go back, and take the rest of the family and friends.

Ok so the newtons law pizza is OUTSTANDING and the crust is literal perfection for anyone that enjoys a thicker, fluffy and crunchy soft flakiness like that of pan pizza. I got the gluten free spaghetti and it was pretty good. The house made marinara is tasty. The humble salad with the tomato vinaigrette was fresh and delectable. We were traveling from KY back to VA and stopped here on the way home for dinner. Since we will be making this trip again in the future, we will definitely stop here just for the pizza and salad! Our waiter, Taylor was very kind and humble. We tried the garlic knots – while they weren’t what I’d typically expect from other pizza places at home (greasy, buttery and super garlicky) I enjoyed dipping them in their marinara and I absolutely loved that they were healthier and easier to eat than those of home pizza joints. Thank you for putting all this amazing love into the landscape of this space, it’s an entire delight to enjoy this food outside! Beautiful!

Had a really great lunch here on the way back home. The restaurant is really nice and well kept. The staff was super nice and accommodated all 6 of us. I ordered the meatball sub and it was awesome! My friends ordered the pasta and said it was good just a little bland. The pepperoni roll was delicious! Our waiter was super nice I didn’t get his name but he was awesome!

Drinks were good, salad was delicious – salmon a bit overdone. Otherwise great!

Dinner here was very good. I tried their pesto pasta with sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms (my first time trying pesto). It was pretty good. Wasn’t overly strong but it could’ve used more cheese. The humble salad is really good, and the tomato vinaigrette is honestly my new favorite salad dressing! My other party member had the steak and cheese and it was also very good. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed and homey. My only complaint is that my waitress didn’t check up on us during our meal, so I was unable to request more cheese for my pasta . Overall great time though. Definitely eager to try their brunch!

Get the bloody Mary. It’s quite delicious and the salt on the rim is perfection.
