Have been trying to visit a few more spots in the River Market and got a chance to try this today. Staff was super friendly and love the space, used to come here all the time when it was The Bite (RIP). The menu is super interesting and very fresh, so perfect for lunch. I went with the Moroccan Bowl w/ quinoa which features beats – loved every bite. Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

This is not fast food ($12 large salad) but it’s a super healthy alternative to the other food venues at this market. It’s worth it given the quality ingredients and variety of choices. If you watch your macros and nutrition, this is a great alternative to ice cream, BBQ, bakeries, and all the fried foods. I highly recommend the cilantro dressing on any of their themed salads.

Last time I came I enjoyed a bowl that had some delicious sweet plantains and wanted to give this place another go. This time it was disheartening the poor customer service. Thankfully, customer service is very important to me I’ve worked in retail for about 8 years and NO MATTER WHAT I engage with the customers that enter the store no matter what they look like or what ethnicity they are. Especially if they are staring at the menu, smiling, hoping for assistance or some sort of greeting, SOMETHING. But as soon as I walked away to look for my partner whom was going to indulge as well I finally get some engagement from the young lady working in which she says “Well thanks for stopping by!” After looking at the reviews others have had good experiences with customer service it just so happens that I do not look like them. I just wanted the owner to be informed. Will gift 3 stars instead of 1 because I understand running a small business is tough, thank you for providing a healthy place for others to enjoy!

We had the food truck for a grad party and it was a big hit! There were so many food options even for me with gluten, dairy and soy allergies. The food is delicious and good quality. I highly recommend the Hungry Hatch!

Don’t recommend this place at all. I’ve been curious about it because I love fresh healthy food. This food wasn’t fresh at all. The customer service was fine. The tuna definitely came from a can lol. Everything tasted like it was from a can. Way too pricey for the low quality.
