First timers: The food was decent, not “knock your socks off we gotta go back soon” type of food, but decent!! The decor was sweet but our server NEVER check in with us after we received our food, no drink/ water refills until we stopped another server to ask him for water and it was dead so no excuses..

Pretty good food! Lovely interior. Reason for 3 star rating is that I thought the door was locked (reservation for 11:30 and the lunch began at 11:30). Woman saw us multiple times as she walked in and out from the patio door and didn’t acknowledge our presence or ask if we needed help, found that off putting. Especially seeing that there was a reservation at that time. Once we did get inside, I saw how uniquely decorated it was. Truly very nice. Again, our waitress wasn’t mean, but she wasn’t very friendly or warming. The restaurant was completely empty besides us, which I found surprising, as the website recommended I make a reservation at that time for lunch. Would maybe go back but probably for a different time of day. Would recommend! But the start was thrown off due to the waiting outside for about 7 minutes. I had to call inside for them to let us in.

We ate at the Sunday brunch buffet on the terrace. Loved the ambience, very clean and beautiful layout. Service was great! Our server Cade was attentive and friendly. If only the food matched the rest. Similar to other reviews, the hot foods were barely warm. Everything looked better than it actually tasted. The best part was the omelette station. Better brunch spots in Lancaster but it was worth a try.

Just went with my mom, the entire restaurant was dead but it took 45 minutes to get a egg sandwich and a small bowl of soup. The waitress did not check on us or apologize for the long wait. By the time the Soup came out, it was cold. She didn’t ask about refills although she saw our glasses were empty. The egg sandwich was good and the atmosphere was great but the service alone makes us to never want to come back again.

Went for Brunch today at 11:30am. Very limited food options. The food was not very warm or fresh. We had to go find our server who was just hanging out at the bar inside to get refills, our table cleared, etc. (at one point there were 4 plates and 2 glasses piled up on our table before I had to request they be removed). They were out of Sugar & Splenda for my ice tea and Plain Bagels. The omelet maker added salt and pepper to my omelet without asking if I wanted it (it made the omelet inedible) The shrimp cocktail caused me major stomach disturbances. The table next to us left after their singular trip through the buffet. THEN… they had the nerve to automatically include a 20% gratuity onto our bill. We are generous tippers BUT we didn’t get 20% worthy service. I guess when you KNOW your tip is guaranteed, why give good service?! The sun became really bright and hot overhead and NO ONE offered to re-seat us somewhere else (only 5 other tables were taken at the time on the entire terrace). I will NEVER go back and can’t wait until The Eden Resort Sunday Brunch resumes… We’ve gotten 20% gratuity worthy service at Cracker Barrel before. It’s was a very disappointing experience!!!

Recently had lunch at the Imperial. Nice to see a new go to lunch spot in Downtown Lancaster. The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice and the staff is very friendly. Nice lunch menu as well. I would highly recommend eating at one of their outside tables.

My husband and I had breakfast at The Imperial today. As hotel guests our breakfast was included in the price of the room, which was nice, however we did not appreciate the super slow service in an almost empty restaurant (see the pictures). When we arrived we followed the posted instructions and approached the hostess in order to be seated. After that, we waited for 15 minutes for someone to take our order. The waiters would pass by our table and not even acknowledge our presence. It was the hostess who actually took our order, apologized for the delay and expressed concern about the lack of personnel serving the few tables that were occupied. Maybe it was just bad luck. When we finally got our food (about 20 minutes after ordering) it lacked flavor and was already cold. Definitely not a good experience for us. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is because of the ambiance and the interior design of the restaurant.
