It’s Karaoke night on Wednesdays! Also they have food specials and it was steak night with 1 side, $16.99, as well. (I don’t eat steak..) I have had it and my husband has it all the time and he loves it! Variety of items on the menu, apps, personal pizza starts at $10, wings , Sandwiches , wraps , salads , beer , wine !!

This was one of my favorite bars. It was 80 inside! I don’t know if they have a new cook but steak night is no longer my favorite night. The bartenders were amazing as always but food and temp inside was sub par.

Nachos with grilled chicken was a tasty dinner at this popular, lively party spot. The BLT rocked, too. Wish I could have taken advantage of the big beer menu but this was a road trip stop. When we go back we’ll ask what the Islander name is about.

There was some live DJ performing and engaging the guests with “Find a Song”. The place was almost full and the waitress were patient enough to customise our orders!! Like making it with and without chicken!! The special drink was a standout!!

We decided to give the Islander a go as we were in the mood for some bar food and saw a Groupon for it.The decor was inviting and fresh, if a tad dimly lit. Our waitress was kind, personable and attentive, even though she was tending bar as well. The chef/runner who delivered our food seemed genuinely interested in whether we enjoyed it/had everything we needed.
