Got the oxtail platter , wings & Jamaican patty ;The rice was flavorful but not as spicy as I’m used too , didn’t like the wings & the oxtails were little to no meat but had flavor & the patty wasn’t meaty either . Good staff and clean environment just not what I’m used too

If you are looking for authentic food in California, MD you will love this place! Sadly, this area is surrounded by so many chain restaurants so finding this restaurant was a real gem! GREAT QUALITY FOOD! My favorite is the curry chicken with jerk mac and cheese – heavenly! This place deserves a 10 star rating! My new favorite restaurant.

Very tasty food, but don’t bother with the “mixed vegetables”, they’re just frozen packaged veggies heated up. The sauteed cabbage, fried plantains, rum cake, and jerk platter are great!

Ordered my food, and it took over an hour to recieve one dish, while people around me that ordered the same dish received their food. Though they were nice enough to apologize, they also forgot to give me my drink that i ordered. It was an unpleasant experience, and the food did not suffice for the wait time.

The location looks friendly enough but no one was there when I went in. The customer service was friendly. WHO?? wants craft macaroni and cheese from what’s supposed to be a caribbean food spot. I took a chance did a door dash order for this place. I ordered escovitch, curry chicken and jerk chicken. The fish was good but my rice and peas were dry- who doesn’t put gravy on rice and peas. The curry chicken and the jerk was mediocre. The plantain was sweet. But the MACARONI WAS BOXED. It was craft and you could tell. I was overall not satisfied with my meal. The runny Mac n cheese ruined everything. Thanks but no thanks.

Good Nyamins!!!! My husband and I are new to St. Mary’s County and were excited to see a Jamaican restaurant in the area, esp since he’s from JA. The food was perfect the jerk pork was well seasoned and the perfect spice, curry goat was great fell right off the bone. My hubby was also excited to see they had dragon stout. I’d post a pic of the food but it done! Lol
