This is the worst meal I’ve ever had, hands down. The buffet is ridiculous. It’s dirty and the food is atrocious. 17.79 for the buffet with a drink. Do not waste your money. There’s red beans, white beans, chicken stew, and some sort of spaghetti with chicken and sausage no gravy. It’s a complete mess. Absolutely ridiculous for almost $20

The name of this establishment is making a bold statement. It builds expectations. I expected their jambalaya to be like no other. I expect this shop to be the king of jambalaya. The jambalaya and gumbo experience was mediocre in my opinion. One good thing I can say is that their chicken was seasoned and you could taste it in the rice. Not sure if I’d visit again. Not a terrible experience at all it just didn’t meet my expectations.

The service is great, the atmosphere was fantastic but the jambalaya’s rice was a little too sticky and dry for my taste. Their gumbo is authentic and was absolutely delicious as well as the red beans. Even enjoyed the mashed potato salad.

Good food, fast service, emaculately clean and delicious! We stopped for a quick bite while on vacation. Our order was taken and we were served quickly. My husband had gumbo and I had the red beans and rice. The portions were generous, the flavors were excellent and I especially liked the extra heat and flavor offered by their signature seasoning (in a “salt shaker on the table). We are glad we were able to stop by on our trip.

Really good food, really fast service, super nice employees. Always clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic gumbo or jambalaya in the Louisiana area. My family and I really love to stop and get gumbo on the way home and sometimes stay and enjoy it in the restaurant. Both are really good

Hours of operation should be updated. Arrived at the store at 7:40 and they were completely closed.

It isnt anything like the one in Gonzales. They have a buffet but we werent offered it the girl working the counter didn’t seem to want to be there and it really showed she was rude but wasnt friendly either like she just wanted us to order so she could be done with us. And the food was a little under seasoned and salty at the same time.

Jambalaya Shoppe is out of Jambalya Again!?!? Food is good but not when you don’t have any. Over an hour before closing time too. So disappointed.

Food was amazing and the service was highly hospitable. Even after they had just opened and a baseball team ravaged their food supplies they had plenty more fresh food for us. Highly recommended. The pastalaya is definitely a nice twist. Very clean also even though the store was clean they always kept cleaning more. Very large portions , great prices. The potato salad is really good too. Fresh tea too. Yumm
