Nothing flashy but the flavors do the talking. Food was priced well for quality and portion size. I got my food within 5min of ordering. The tenderness of the chicken matched with the building of curry flavor made this meal stand out. Really great to find this place as it offers flavors outside of the “normal”. Both the service and food were absolutely amazing! The Jerk Chicken Sandwich was very well worth the price and very filling. A great combination of cheese mixed with tender, yet flavorful cut of chicken and spices. The atmosphere is amazing as well with the Caribbean decor and flags. I would definitely make a return visit as well as refer people to the restaurant.

The Jerk Joint offers bold Caribbean flavors. The delectable three meat platter was piled high with rice and beans plus, tasty cooked cabbage. Service was quick and friendly. Our food was not quite hot enough, but we’ll definitely be back to sample the menu further.

Food was absolutely unappetizing and just filled with fat. Was so off putting we left most of our plates after the first couple of bites. Very bland. Rude service as if the food wasn’t bad enough! Asked about the rum cake and was told it wasn’t ready and they didn’t know when it would be ready. We asked before the food arrived and would not have ordered it anyway. I paid the tab and at $50 was extremely disappointed. Would never go here again. Not sure why they have good reviews? Guessing friends and family. Went to another restaurant and were treated well and food was amazing. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this. Nice to support local small business but if the food is not edible what’s the point?

What a great dine-in experience at The Jerk Joint! Friendly service, welcoming atmosphere (loved the reggae tunes), and delicious food! I enjoyed the Caribbean Nachos and a doobie, though I had to take the doobie to go because the nachos were so filling! Keep an eye on their hours as they close after lunch and then re-open later for dinner. I highly recommend the Jerk Joint, its so nice to have local eclectic restaurant options!

The place is a breath of fresh air in Northeast Wisconsin. I love their Caribbean food. The jerk chicken, Mac & cheese burger, and curry chicken do not disappoint. All are very flavorful with a little kick. Their Mac & cheese burger is easily the best burger in the entire state. The smokiness they add to the burger makes it so good! Once in a while they have a jerk chicken or shrimp in a pineapple bowl which is also really tasty. My only real wish is that they had plantains more often. Great place to eat! Don’t sleep on it!
