Very friendly staff. Excellent service. Very accommodating to elderly and handicap. Small town vibes. Good conversations. Amazing local artwork. All of the soups and Chilli are great. I haven’t had a bad sandwich there yet!

Loved this place and suggest you try it. It gets a little busy as it is a small cozy place. We sat at the counter and enjoyed the show… the cooks. Drinks were well crafted

We went here the other day to give a local restaurant a try. I ordered the Roast Beef sandwich and my wife ordered the Triple Grilled Cheese with a side of their Loaded Baked Potato soup. All three items were delicious. I didn’t think I could enjoy a Roast Beef sandwich as much as I did this one. The whole atmosphere is awesome and welcoming. They have a ton of local artwork hanging on the walls for sale, it’s always so cool to see a local restaurant supporting local artists! I would highly recommend Lunch Box to anyone looking for some amazing sandwiches.

We ordered the Turkey specialty sandwich and the Italian sandwich. Both were delivered to our table promptly. Employees were friendly and entire place appeared clean. Liked the local artist displays on multiple walls. Thanks.

We just moved to Johnstown and want something lite to eat … we both had the BLT and also had a Mediterranean Salad… my husband said this is his new favorite spot…

Two scoops of ice cream are much bigger than expected. Couldn’t stop eating it though so caused me problems. The construction on their parking lot got in the way but is done now.

I was in Johnstown for a listing and wanted to try the local fare in case a buyer asked me about it. As a vegetarian there wasn’t a huge selection for sandwiches but the triple grilled cheese was one of the best grilled cheeses I’ve had! I certainly appreciate the hometown atmosphere, nice to be able to eat somewhere besides a chain restaurant.

Didn’t expect to find this Gem in the area being from out of state, but my goodness the homemade Ruben sandwich was awesome.

Sorry guys this one is a no go for me. Portions are not nearly as good as some say. If I pay $20 for 2 sandwiches I would hope they would fill me up most of the way. The only reason they didn’t get a 1 star is the service and a personal policy against ever (unless it is tremendously bad) giving a locally owned business that low a rating. You may have a different opinion but that’s my take on it.

Nice quiet place to have a quick lunch and get back to work. They have some local art featured on the walls you can purchase.
