I’m very impressed with this place.Rob our server was outstanding.the mixed drinks were perfect. The salmon was delicious and the crab cake sandwich was over loaded with real crab meat. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The bathroom was even super clean and nice.I’ll be going back

First time trying polish food…. Very disappointed. The potato pancakes were good. The Amsterdam authentic BitterBallen was good.

The service was great, the food was too. I recommend the Black Dirt burger and New York Cheese cake for dessert.

We stopped in for a quick Blooming Onion that we missed at the fair the night before…it was great! We each had a BIG German Bier and sat at the end of the bar to watch the kitchen action…. servers were hustling, platters coming out of the kitchen looked amazing as well as the rest of the entrees that were being plated and expedited. We definitely put the Jolly on our list for dinner very soon! I will update my review then 😉

I’ve been wanting to go here for the past 30 years. Wow was I disappointed. Potato pancakes cakes and the Pierogis where covered in sour cream. They tasted like Mr T’s frozen pierogis. Pancakes had no flavor. They were smothered in sour cream. I don’t care for sour cream so that should be the customers option to use it. My French onion soup was overly sweet for some reason. I had a 17$ burger. Ordered it medium rare. I don’t know what it was. It tasted like someone put frozen chop meat in the microwave and put it on a bun. 120$ for garbage food. Extremely disappointing. But the waitress was very nice.

First time stopping by after being invited out by a friend drive over an hour from Jersey have to say I should have gotten here sooner. Place has a family friendly inviting atmosphere to it our waitress Tanya was amazing explaining everything to us and being patient with our happy indecisions the three of us ended up getting multiple meals because everything on the menu look good and the we were not disappointed food was incredible the pulled pork and hamburgers do not disappoint. Drinks were very well made all around a great night out with friends cannot wait to go back. Compliments to the Chef who came out to say hi and asked how everything was.

Finally went to this place after passing it many times. It was so good. We had the onion soup, a BBQ burger, pulled pork sandwich, and the Mac and cheese with pulled pork. It was a early dinner. Everything was really great. We also had the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and that was fantastic! Already trying to find a friend to go back.

Very nice cute place. Our server Tanya was absolutely fantastic very friendly and nice to talk to. New chef at restaurant briefly spoke with him about the menu and his new ideas which I think will make it even more fantastic. Definitely will come back.

Nice local place with simple comfort food. The onion stack starter was good to share and came with a couple of tasty dips.

I absolutely love the jolly onion. I usually stop by earlier in the day when it’s not as busy and I do recommend getting reservations for anything after 6pm. Food is just awesome. They have some German classics here but I also have tried the burgers, pulled pork, wings, and salads. Had family speak highly of the schnitzel and swedish meatballs. also the meat platters are huge! I recommend wing night on Wednesdays! I bring my baby daughter and the wait staff are always generous with attention and don’t mind the giant mess my daughter makes. Pine Island is a really wonderful area and the Jolly Onion definitely adds to the wonderfulness. The wings are gluten free and some of the dishes are gluten free which is key for me. I don’t drink but they have a ton of beer options.
