A stop by the jolly oyster was one of the most memorable moments of our summer. Be sure to bring your own shucking knife if you have one (otherwise it’s $15 to buy one – they won’t shuck for you but you can buy pre-prepared food from another truck).

I come here many times a year with family,friends, and dogs! The owner Mark is so friendly and accommodating, and the staff is awesome too. We usually spend the entire day here eating tons of the most amazing oysters and usually reserve a grill to BBQ. We sometimes will have oysters first, then head to the park right next to Jolly Oyster and hang out so other people can get a table. LOVE this place! I give it 10 stars

We came for lunch. This would be a great place for tourists, sit by the beach and enjoy lunch. The food is good, but overpriced for what you get. It seems very popular though. Picnic tables with covered umbrellas. Dogs are welcome.

Nice food truck with tables near the beach. Oysters were ok. The only one we liked was the uni butter oyster. The others were underwhelming. The habanero oyster was aight. The cajun oyster was comically not cajun. We did not like the jolly oyster. The raw oysters were very small but tasted decent. Pricey, $40 for 8 oysters.

Be sure to come here on a nice day out since they have a lot of benches with umbrellas. If you stay longer than an hour, you need to pay for parking.

Perfectly located adjacent to the Pacific and under CA skies, the Jolly Oyster was a wonderful place to host a memorable event❤️Food was prepared to perfection. An excellent way to spend time on the weekend. Mark has done a fabulous job upgrading Jolly Oyster. Well done! The long awaited bar is finally here! Bubbly and Kumamoto oysters with Jolly Oysters “secret” Thai sauce will have you craving the combination when you least expect it. Another personal favorite is their grilled oysters. I recommend the sampler platter. Try them all! When you are done, have fun adding your oyster scrap pile to the collection. It’s a fantastic experience!

Had a great time! When we first arrive they asked how many at out party just like in a regular restaurant, provided us with shade then we ordered our oysters, they were fresh! Meaty! Enjoyed each one… highly recommend this place.
