I liked this place a lot. The oysters were fresh and the atmosphere was really nice. I enjoyed my clam chowder but I found out too late that I should have ordered the crab fried rice. It smelled amazing. I look forward to coming back to try that dish and all of the oyster shooters as well.

Although I wish they took reservations, with a little pre-planning, it’s worth the wait. Get there early to add your name to the list then go have a drink elsewhere while you wait. The NOLA grilled oysters are always tasty, the hush puppies are amazing and the lobster rolls are overstuffed with perfectly cooked lobster. The low country crab rice is super hit or miss for people according to the waitress but was definitely a miss for our group.

This place is everything. May be my new favorite spot in Greenville. I travel a lot for work and every so often I find myself in Vermont or Maine and have the opportunity to try an authentic lobster roll. I’ve been craving one ever since and boy oh boy did this hit the spot.

We recently spent a week in May in Boston and the surrounding New England States. We had clam chowder and Lobster rolls in Kennebunkport & Portland, MA, Portsmouth’s, NH, Newport, RH, and Martha’s Vineyard. I just recently found out that Connecticut has their own version of a Lobster Roll and The Jones Oyster Co. offers both the Maine and Connecticut versions on the menu and had to give it a try. Now that I have had both versions, both are great to eat and may depend on each individual’s taste of which way they want to eat them. The Jones Oyster Co. is a great place to dine because the food was exquisite, service impeccable, and drinks delicious. Their most popular items are the Oysters they serve from multiple states. Really enjoyed the lobster nachos, Olde Salt oysters, and Maine lobster roll in DT Greenville. What a treat! We loved it so much we all bought T-shirts. The only thing I would recommend is more comfortable seats at the high tops. We snagged a lower table with backs to the chairs as soon as we could. But it really looks fab in there! Super clean. Friendly staff. Great vibes!

Jones Oyster Co provided one of the best meals I have ever had in Greenville, and the service was superior. Along with that, I forgot to get my receipt the night of, and Jess the manager was kind enough to email me a copy of the receipt when I called a week later. Thank you for the meal and the help! We went to Jones for my cousin’s birthday and all I have to say is WOW! The wait was a bit long, with good reason, because the food was outstanding. I would wait a million more times. The oysters were fresh, the smoked dip was flavorful, and the key lime pie was mouthwatering. The staff was so kind and the manager took the time to thank us for waiting. They even gave us a round of shots for the birthday girl. It was truly a wonderful experience. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
