Ok…first we had to seat ourselves and all the tables were dirty. The lady put the menus on that dirty table and said I will wipe the table down for you. When the food was served, I looked at my silverware and they were filthy with old food! The fork had egg yolk and red chili powder on it and the butter knife had a brown bread powder on it. I kind of lost my appetite but my husband was so excited to try this place so I tried to be joyful. I was waiting for the lady to come back and ask her for new silverware. 5 minutes passed…no one was coming out from the back so my husband grabbed the new silverware for me from the front table. I ordered the Ultimate Breakfast that comes with the waffle. Unfortunately, my waffle had a piece of paper towel in it that I swallowed after the first bite. I believe it was my luck because my husband food was fine. Again, I don’t trust the hygiene of this place anymore. The health department should come back and rate their new score. I don’t think 99 points is accurate.

Staff was very nice and attentive. Food was great. The sausage gravy was a little heavy with black pepper but other than no complaints. Had that down home southern feel. Nice little quaint diner hidden between Columbia and Mt Pleasant at Hamilton Court. Check them out and thank me later.

The Juicy Egg prepared our office lunch. They prepared enough entrees for our staff of 15 to enjoy multiple food items. Staff was impressed with the veggie burger! The signature juicy egg burger was delicious! The feta and spinach omelet was very flavorful. If course the waffles and toppings were outstanding!

After a month driving the back roads of northeast USA, enjoying the diner fare and wishing there was such in middle Tennessee and BAM! I stumbled upon The Juicy Egg, just 10 minutes from my front door. The food is northeast classic upscaled. Bacon is like the fancy restaurant type, imported from Canada, the kind even Canadians can’t buy for home. The waffle! OMG! If you’re a fan of Waffle House waffles you’ll be in raptures over this version. Light, melt in your mouth, and delicate tasting. Crispy around the edge. PERFECT. This the best of North and South, a wonderful diner experience with a laid-back, friendly southern vibe. Thank you, Jacob, for taking great care of me.

What a great place for breakfast. Best menu ever, so hard to choose! I had the Dad Bod bowl with egg whites, spinach and feta. Husband had an omelet. Delicious, fast, clean friendly. We will be back.

Stopped in after seeing the sign off the main drag in Mount Pleasant and I’ve been here a few times already! The food is amazing and to be honest, the breakfast burrito has to be the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in TN! You should stop in!

This one gets 4 stars simply for hospitality, kindness and a good vibe. Like the big booths for sure, waitress was kind, efficient and attentive. We went on a very early Saturday morning and I think the regular cook was out, making things a little bit complicated for the other staff, but they pulled through together and pulled it off and with smiles and kindness. The food wasn’t “OMG, the best breakfast ever!,” but it was good, I got an omelette with toast and home-fries and it was good, the coffee is simple and smooth, and we had a nice breakfast. Will be back!
