Money is tight now, and I hate to spend it on food that’s cheaply bought and not prepared right. I had the 1 lb snow crab legs and ordered a fried shrimp poor boy to go. The crab legs were served with ‘ margarine.’ . I asked for butter and my gracious young waitress, went to the back and was told by the manager butter was too expensive. She opened up to-go packets of butter and melted it for me. This confirmed that I would never be back again. Wait, there’s more. The next night I was going to have the fried shrimp poor boy. Way to much breading on the shrimp, over cooked and get this, only five shrimp with the TAILS still on! Worst sandwich ever!

First ever visit. We got the fried shrimp, oysters, etc. Too much breading for my taste but otherwise it was good. I think the boiled offerings would have been a better choice. Kinda expensive. Not saying I won’t be back, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

It’s the mans birthday, and we always do a big seafood feast. This year we went to The Juicy Seafood Flowood . If you like Asian-Cajun seafood boil, you would really enjoy it here! We got 1lb lobster, 1lb crab legs, 1lb shrimp, 1lb green mussels, 1lb baby octopus, 4 corn, and 8 potatoes. We opted for the Juicy special sauce which is all 4 of their house sauces combined. Do yourself a favor and get a side of rice, drizzle that sauce all over your rice You’re welcome.

Service was decent. The food was absolutely terrible, easily the worst food in the area. The food had literally no seasoning at all, everyone at the table complained of this. The seafood quality was also bad, it was not remotely fresh. Considering it the price, 15+ a person, I would never come here again.

Fantastic Asian-Cajun style seafood. I liked their interior design and thought they did a good job. Almost felt like eating “under the sea.” I enjoy spice and has high tolerance so I got spice level of Hot, whole shebang of juicy special and it was just adequate for me. I decided to go for a classic seafood of my choice: 2 lb of crawfish, 1/2 lb of potatoes and extra corns. It was a filling size for a man over 200 lbs. Similar to other Asian-Cajun seafood restaurants, it is savory steaming contents in the bag on the metal plate. I believe the price is pretty standard across this type of restaurants, but this place is slightly more expensive than few other places located within Jackson. However, it really comes down to the difference in individual experiences such as customer service, taste, and the atmosphere. I enjoyed this location and I bet you’ll too 🙂

My experience at the Juicy Seafood good. I got a to go so I can’t rate the sit down experience but I ordered the crab cakes and shrimp po boy. The crab cakes were awesome and would order them again. The po boy still had the tails on the shrimp which is kind of weird if you’re not expecting that and just take a bite like I did. There may have been five medium sized shrimp on it. For the price should have been a couple more.

Delicious flavorful Seafood. The fried portion I didn’t like too much. If they asked what flavor for the fried portions like they do for the boiled portions it would be better basically it has NO FLAVOR. Put a little seasoning on it. Not salt but spices at the consumers wishes. I’m a flavor type person. I don’t always eat boiled. I like mixing it up. Other than that the atmosphere is friendly and I feel welcomed everytime I dine in. Juicy Seafood has the best flavor when it comes to boiled seafood. The bar is cool too especially if you’re eating alone. Oh and tip the workers especially if they are checking on you often. The minute they don’t check on you it’s a problem right? Stop going to restaurants being cheap especially if you understand how the pay works. That’s all for now.
