We were going to the theatre and my brother suggested The Katherine Restaurant. The former home of Foxy Brown restaurant that moved into a larger space nearby. A small storefront restaurant with a cute interior and a small patio at the rear of the restaurant.

SO SO GOOD! one of the best places in fort lauderdale. Small, so make sure to get a reservation. You won’t want to miss this restaurant! The food is delicious and different than you will find anywhere else. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

We were in town for the opera and stopped here pre-show. Nice menu, interesting flavor combos (in a good way), attentive wait staff, and very pleasant environment. Loved the chef’s music playlist. Tried the crispy rice, the charred cabbage, the Indian street corn, the rice with mushrooms and morcillo, and the jerk chicken. All were very enjoyable. My fav was the cabbage, with a nice bright sauce that was a good contrast to the rice with mushrooms. Nice coffee at the close of the meal as well. Chaplin was our server and was great.

Great little date night spot! My husband and I had an excellent meal. The standouts were the Thai red curry snapper and sherry carrots. The service was great as well as their wine. Highly recommend this spot if you are in the mood for some creative and imaginative food.

Stellar meal. We breezed in four minutes before the kitchen closed and the server slid our order in and then proceeded to literally wine and dine us. Every dish was a treat. A few tips: clam chowder fries, jerk chicken, all the truffle dishes, the hamachi ceviche, crispy tuna rice, ooof the list goes on. I’m in love with the Katherine.

Truly gourmet. Chef driven and creative. This is a true place for foodies. Dessert menu is a little less impressive. Great service with staff that is passionate about the experience this restaurant offers. This place needs to become famous.
