Had a great experience at the keep the other night. Great service from start to end. Well balanced cocktails on the menu and in addition the bartender was able to make me a great drink just based off of what I was asking for. The wings are some of the best wings I’ve had. The steak frites was cooked to a perfect medium rare, as you can see in the photo I posted. Can’t wait to visit again soon

Great local date night spot in Lowell. We felt the drink alone merit a trip back. The food was great: good portions and it was seasoned well. We also got the vegetable tartine as well which was a nice light appetizer.

I would have given this 5 stars if the chips on my last visit were not overcooked. The chip dip might have been overcooked as well but it still tasted so good. The wings were so crispy and very well cooked and seasoned. The chicken dip is my most favorite wing dip in New England. I also tried their house salad and it was very fresh and filling. I like that they have a very simple menu with can be enjoyed by everyone.

Hard to know if the food is good, we only stopped by for drinks. I can say the dishes that were carried past us looked amazing. The bar staff were friendly and clearly loved making mixed drinks. Also a nice rotation of craft beers, They had some from Foam from VT (I love Beers from Foam). Would love to come back and try the food.

Food and drinks were delicious, servers and host were very friendly and attentive. My only complaint would be the music was kind of loud, but that’s probably because I was sat at a table near the back speaker and it was a Friday night. I’ll definitely be back again

My wife and I have been going to the Keep since they opened. We love the vibe there and the owner is one of the best people you’ll find anywhere. Down to earth, friendly and accommodating. I love the rotating cocktail menu and the wings are the best I’ve ever had. For dinner I typically go with either the burger, the gumbo, the brick chicken, or the ribeye. All 4 are excellent options, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything there. For dessert, I highly recommend their carrot cake, trust me, as someone who hates standard carrot cake fare, they have elevated it beyond what I ever would have expected.

This is an excellent tavern (by definition a tavern is more upscale than a bar). The food is excellent and the prices reflect the effort that the proprietors have put into bringing the servings to the table. I say this because certain reviewers have called it, “a bit pricey for Lowell.” No, it was only pricey for them. This is a beloved tavern in Lowell and yes, Lowell does deserve good things. The Phantom Gourmet gave The Keep a rave review and you should take that advice over the Troglodytes that can’t afford a 20% tip for the service.

We love The Keep. Fantastic drinks. The food is phenomenal. We love to order and just enjoy the night at a slower pace. Take care of your servers when you do that! 🙂

Cool place, great drinks and service. The food is ok, pub food but fancy. It’s not really my thing, but I recognize that it’s quite good for what it is and they put a lot of effort into the presentation which is nice. A good assortment of drinks. The service was very attentive and the building is very interesting. I live walking distance away, but my friend had some difficulty finding parking.
