I ordered the 4 piece jumbo tender meal with baked beans and potato wedges. I also ordered 2 dark pieces of fried chicken, a leg and a thigh. My fiancé ordered the chislic meal with potato salad and fries. My jumbo tenders were very tough and dry they were not good at all. My two pieces of fried chicken were fantastic they were crunchy and juicy. My potato wedges were decent but they only gave me 4 like really wow what a generous side. My baked beans tasted weird. My fiancés chislic was very dry she barely got any fries as you can see in the photo and she said the potato salad tasted funky. They don’t make good chicken tenders or chislic here I would never order them things again. The fried chicken legs and thighs are really good. We got almost every sauce they had to offer. Some were good and some were terrible. The side portion sizes are very small and disappointing. This is a chicken spot and they don’t have mashed potatoes which is very disappointing. The staff seemed fairly friendly. We payed 41 dollars and we were pretty unsatisfied with our food to say the least. Would I come back here again it’s highly unlikely unless I really just wanted legs and thighs. But as unhappy as we were with our food I think we will just head to kfc from now on.

This place never fails to impress. We have gotten food to go as well as eaten at their buffet. Both options offer great quality chicken, amazing sides and always top notch service. We visit this location at least 3 times a month and are always impressed with the food. Their dining area is always clean and the salad bar always stocked. They have several items on their buffet including a great salad selection, regular chicken, chicken wings, tater tots and mashed potatoes and gravy. There were other options, but these are what stood out to me. We definitely will be back.

The family and I stopped in here to carb load the night before a trail run, and I got to choose. I had the hungries for chicken, and this place didn’t disappoint! I also had the salad bar which wasn’t anything to brag about but had the essential sides worthy of great chicken. Speaking of chicken, it was all good from the tenders to the wings! The flavors were great, the ranch sauce was a little on the bland side though. I’d recommend the sweet chili sauce for the wings.

Was my first time trying their wings and thought the onion rings were perfect and the mango habanero sauce was superb. Also tried the hot wings which were also perfect. Hot enough to make you sip your beverage but not too hot. Now their Carolina Reaper sauce could be a different story (I did not try those). Prices are average compared to other chicken wing outlets.

Grease used to fry chicken tasted very old. The chicken was all crust…very little meat. The fries were cold and hard…the baked beans were white beans, but they did taste good…they just were not baked beans. The bathrooms smelled like a cesspool. I’m hoping I don’t get food poisoning….

Was noticeably too busy for the staffing. I waited 45 minutes for my food. The portions were small, the meat was tough – appeared to be overcooked – the meal was just unremarkable.

The missus would usually pick up dinner, so I had not been inside the Westside location. So first, they accepted a dinner order 10 minutes before closing. So second, the staff was awesome. I need to return for their buffet at lunch.

Exceptional food, exceptional service and friendly staff. What else can one hope for. I will be going back any chance I get in the future. Can’t say enough good things about the place, the food and the people. Even the customers were engaging and super friendly. Felt like a close knit neighborhood bbq with some close family and friends.

Let me explain what happens. People around here tell you the fried chicken is “good” at “so-and-so’s” place…it’s been a lie. I’m from the south, where the chicken is fried, seasoned, hot, and crispy. I have yet to experience this in Sioux Falls. Until the fateful day I ordered from The Keg. The crust is battered and flaky. The chicken has clearly been brined because the flavor is down to the bone. The onion rings were light as air and masterfully fried. I will be back for more. 10/10 recommended.
