First time eating at this establishment. Breakfast was excellent, eggs, sausage and biscuit tasted marvelous (so much so, my wife went back later to buy extra biscuits). Our server was also the cook and host our morning there. Staff shortage or something…Really was no issue other than it started to get busy as we were leaving which may have caused some difficulties for the poor gentleman. Nice decor, sidewalk seating and a very pleasant meal. I’d go back in a minute.

Delicious, simple food in a great spot. We’ve been coming here for years (mostly for breakfast) and every meal has been fantastic. Make sure to try the biscuits as they’re the best anywhere, and save room for the buttermilk pie.

This place sucked. I DO NOT recommend the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are okay, but the gravy had no flavor and tasted like malt o meal. The silverware had grime on it, and I would avoid this place if possible. The biscuits and gravy at my hotel was better than the stuff here.

After a busy day of hiking we were looking forward to a hearty meal. The manager was very rude and told us to leave the second we walked in. He said “there is a 50 minute wait” while the restaurant was completely empty. I was completely caught off guard and frankly quite annoyed that the OWNER of a restaurant would talk to potential customers in such a harsh manner, we went to Armadillo Ranch instead and had a FAR more pleasant dining experience.

would’ve loved to try the food, but the manager immediately told all of us to leave the second we walked in with a “yall, NO.” no “we’re busy” (there were 2 tables being waited on), no “hello”, nothing. just an immediate outburst. definitely not a good sign. we went to armadillo ranch down the street instead and had a wonderful time with great burgers and even better service. if you do decide to come here, come in as soon as they open bowing and apologizing for giving them money and your apparently very unwanted patronage.

The glasses were dirty. The place was empty at 11:30am. Should have taken note of that fact. The silverware had a film…we should have left then but we were distracted and very hungry. I had meatloaf and my daughter had biscuits and gravy. Both dishes were inedible. Who puts green onion and cheese on biscuits and gravy? Also the biscuits were super old and crunchy. My meatloaf had a very strange texture. The whole thing tasted like old rancid grease. The waitress was nice though. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else.

The food was good, but horribly overpriced for the small portion sizes. Super small portions. My French fries might have been half a potato worth. Burger size comparable to a $1 menu burger. I would definitely eat the food again but would not go back d/t price.

We chose this place because they were open for breakfast. Tiny little place and first impressions were good. However, we soon learned that our female server was having difficulties with her daily routine. She had a memory of about 30 seconds. Three times asking for the drink I ordered. The food was questionable as well. Not bad, but not great. The server clearly needs a rehab facility. I hope that she finds help soon. Avoid this place.

New waitress and she was really lost. She was nice but not trained at all. Huge cobwebs everywhere . Water glasses were really dirty. The sugar they brought out for the coffee was a canister that the sugar had hardened and it appeared to be years old. Food came quickly but the biscuits were inedible bricks of greasy dough. Gravy was pretty funny, there was shredded cheese on the biscuits and gravy! My breakfast potatoes were fine, eggs were fine and bacon was fine. I don’t know where the good reviews came from but that was not our experience. The guests across from us were laughing about how bad it was. Again, waitress and cook were very nice but that was the only saving grace.
