This place is a hit and miss for me. Certain menu items are wonderful but the rest of it is mediocre. I love the Oreo Desert bar! I used to work for Tropicana and I only had to pay $7.00. For that price it wasn’t too bad. It went further downhill after Eldorado fully took over the property. They no longer used fresh brewed sweet tea. It is now from a fountain. Honestly if your paying full price for your meal you’d be better off taking the money to Golden Coral, where you get better food and better options. Honestly this place is overpriced.

Too many chicken dishes, cold rolls, dry meat. Fried chicken tasted re-heated. And to top it off I think I may have gotten sick off of their food. I didn’t want to complain, but the waitress noticed how disappointed we were. Gave us a comp card for 25$. Come to find out can’t use it anywhere but restaurants and gift shops even though she told me it was good anywhere on the grounds. I do not want to even come to the boat anymore.

Starting at the Tropicana for business and this buffet is at the bottom of the elevators so it’s very convenient. The fruit tasted fresh and some items were good, but others, like they potatoes, were quite rubbery. The bacon was cooked nicely, but the eggs were pretty rough until they brought a new batch out. The staff was very polite.

If this is the chain that’s trending on tiktok. The one owned by a Musk then don’t go here. Many employees had money put into a family fund. The restaurants said they were closing down for a few weeks due to covid. Everyone applied to get money from the family fund. You know that thing they had money out of their paychecks put into. Then said they were closing permanently so the employees there were no longer employees and couldn’t have the family fund. People died. Struggled. Messed up so much. This people is how a billionaire became a billionaire.

If you have a comps for it try the coke products and frozen ice cream in the machine, that’s the best. Food is basic cafeteria like and prepared in the same manner. No seasonings, over cooked, and Luke warm at best. Tried it more than once and it been always the same.

Worst casino buffet I have eaten. Arrived 15 minutes after dinner opening and food already dried out. Obviously it was lunch just left there. Vegetables canned, not fresh. Hot items were cold. For 20 bucks, total rip off.

It sure would have been helpful to not have had to wait 10 minutes after having to ask the staff to refill the the bacon on the salad bar.
