This is my favorite restaurant in Portland. We highly recommend making reservations as it’s a small intimate space. On this visit, we enjoyed the Maine Restaurant Week menu. While we were not fans of the French onion soup (we prefer a richer broth), the flat iron steak and chocolate dessert were delectable. We also recommend the Foccacia or French onion tart to start, two favorites! The menu is seasonal and changes frequently, which means you always get something new on each visit.

Some of the best food we’ve had in Portland! The menu is a refreshing take on seafood/American food. It’s a great retreat from downtown Portland with a cozy vibe. They have a cute outdoor patio that’s perfect for Spring and Summer. We look forward to going back!

What a hidden gem of a restaurant. Excellent food. Tuesday is burger night, so we got the burgers. They were cooked perfectly and were amazing. I can’t remember the last time I had tomatoes that contributed to the experience of a burger. They had so much flavor. The fries were some of the best I have ever had. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and nicely seasoned. The cocktails were great as well. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. All of our needs were met. We ended our great experience with the profiteroles. Delicious. Go here.

July 2022: This time time this food was good but not as fabulous as a year ago. I had a crab cake appetizer and duck main entre. I enjoyed the duck, the appetizer was average. The duck side was cabbage and sour cream, an unusual combination that I liked.

Excellent food. We loved the shrimp cake. I had the trout which was crispy and perfectly prepared, I wasn’t fond of the sauce that came with it but it was on the side so it didn’t detract. They have outdoor tables which makes for covid safe dining.
