I usually love this place and I definitely didnt want to make a fuss but after biting into one of the bacon and cheese kolaches, I found the finger portion of a rubber glove inside. I called the location to voice my concerns as this is one a choking hazard and two very unsanitary and whoever i spoke to didn’t offer any kind of refund or any kind of reassurance that no one elses food would be contaminated like that today.

Went to get breakfast since we were in town from Florida. They were closed at 630 in morning. I called to ask why and the manager answers to tell that non the other employees had shown up but the cook. I understand that the situation is out of his control to open the whole place up but if your restaurant is scheduled to open at 6am and you are the manager. You have a cook. Then by you not opening your losing money. At least run the drive thru so you are able to still make money and keep restaurant going. Not gonna be returning to this location ever again. By way I did ask when he would be open because I was willing wait, I was informed no clue and it might be 9-10am. Situations like that dictate if your a multi location franchise call other store to ask for help.

I’m glad there are kolaches in Baton Rouge! I wish they were good.

I have never been to a slower “fast food” place in my life. This is probably one of the easiest jobs i can think of, heating up a kolache, and it shouldn’t take 20 minutes to do so. I’m not sure if it’s just untrained workers, or poor management but this needs to be fixed. It crucial for a morning business to be on top of it especially because I was trying to get breakfast before work which shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.

10:55am on a Sunday. Closed sign on door. Attitude by staff lady that didn’t speak when spoken too, just rolled eyes. Other worker on cell phone. Kolache kitchen just got their last chance for my business. Only option was turkey and Swiss! Get real.

i’ve always loved kolache kitchen but the service and the food quality have plummeted recently. i ordered a taco that came as just hot grease wrapped in tin foil. i am not sure if it is new management or untrained workers but this is insane. i will not be going anymore. no vietnamese coffee is worth a 2nd degree burn

Let me say the food they did get right was pretty good buut, first time I came I order a steak and egg taco. They gave me bacon and egg … everyone at work is always talking about them and how good they are so I decided to give them a second chance once again ordered a sausage and cheese Kolache Only had sausage in it.

Placed an order to be ready for 6:30 AM. I made sure I showed up at 6 even though they open at 6 just in case my order wasn’t ready and I needed to give them a push. I walked in a few minutes after 6 got to the register, told them my name and paid. I asked if it was ready and it was! They were hot, the pans were labeled and they were Individually wrapped just like we asked. I was able to use our tax exempt information with no issues! And they even left a note on each pan. They really made this process SO stress free for me! Thank you! We’ll be back!

The Kolache are always cold and the people taking the orders usually get it wrong. Also usually out of a lot of stuff by 9 am but good food for what they have!
