I found this gem while out of town on 8/10/23. I was apprehensive after reading a few bad reviews, but that was short lived. This place was great. The lady who sat us also served us. She was so very friendly and attentive.

The food was ok, when we arrived we waited 10 minutes to get a table, and the restaurant was almost empty. Once we were served, the food arrived quickly, which was good because we were hungry we were waiting 20 minutes for them to bring us the ticket to pay, which seemed like a long time to me.

1st time ..got coupon in value pack. 50.00 meal deal…hate it when you go to restaurant because looked like deal. But they offer it all the time. Waitress was super nice.

They included a 15% gratuity (13.00) on my bill. I noticed AFTER I gave the waitress a 20.00 cash tip which brought my tip to 44%. When I asked the the manager yo remove from my card she said she couldn’t because it was a “service tip for restaurant” – said this is customary for Chinese. I’ve had tons of Chinese in my life, haven’t seen this before.

Service was good and so was food but when we went to pay had to wait for cashier which was fine until the manager (short guy) I’m guess ask the cashier are we paying. Well if I’m standing at register and waiting on someone to charge me then yes I’m paying! You think I’m going to run out the door with a take out box and toddler! You can’t fix stupidity!

I have visited the place many times since they opened. I’m a good Ole country boy that loves his head on shrimp spicy and full of garlic!!! I order the same thing every time. 2 for 1 happy hour draft beers and a side of hush-puppies with tartar sauce…TO GO!
