If you are looking for real authentic Mexican food this is the spot. Fidelina the owner has great customer service. I definitely recommend this little hidden restaurant. Her homemade salsa is delicious.

We are regulars here – the tamales are great, of course! The price is reasonable which is a big one for us since we have 5 kids…..the salsa is home made and AWESOME! Fidelina Suarez, the owner, is amazing, kind and provides great service!

Mucho Amore! Very delicious & lots of food! The burrito was humongous and yummy ! Yes, of course I chose a vegetarian style. So vegetarian vegan types that follow me, this is a spot to possibly grab some yum yum .

Delightful! The people are always nice, and the food is delicious. I live in Reno, but every time I’m in Carson City, I stop by to pick up a dozen tamales.

Small but yet inviting. Spoke to owner (friendly and professional) and ordered up an El pastor burrito with beans, rice, and two of her cheeses inside. Asked for sour cream but apparently she doesn’t or didn’t have that. Also ordered a pork tamale and a carne asada street taco. The burrito was massive but wasn’t a fan of the cheeses and lack of sour cream. I did however really like the tamale and street taco quite a bit, very appetizing and fresh. When I go back, will try some more tamales and tacos and if still great, will bump it to a 5 since the burrito wasn’t stellar to be truthful. Also, pricing is very competitive!

We ordered tamales and requested a special order. We went to pick them up on a specific time and day. When we got there, our special order was not ready. We were asked to come back 2 hours later for the ones we ordered. She offered us another option. We reluctantly took the tamales that were ready. We were assured that the chilies were NOT hot. She charged us for a special order and made no offer to resolve the issue. We got them home and you guessed it, they were HOT So lucky us, we got the rotten end of the bargain for Christmas. I remember when she first started out. She was very contentious and her tamales were excellent. I believe quality of product and customer service have gone out the window in favor of expansion. If you are looking for authentic tamales, look again.

I don’t know what went wrong but the food has gone downhill. The tamales are basically the only good part and that’s iffy.

Saw this place in Dayton as I was driving through. I love tamales so I had to stop. The man behind the counter was super nice. I ordered 2 dozen tamales for the road. He brought me those all bagged up and ready to go. Then at no extra charge he brought me two on a plate heated up with a salsa verde, just so I could try them. They were awesome!!! Too bad I live in Maine or I would be eating here every chance I got.

This place is small but mighty. The food is great. I had a huge beef burrito with beef beans and rice. I shared about an eighth of it all together and ate the rest.
