The food and service were great. Jalapeño popper soup was a fun experience. Also, the turkey burger was cooked perfectly along with a soft but crunchy lightly buttered bun. The seasonal beer were a fun breat selection.

Decent food. I liked the appetizers the most. Highly recommend the shrimp and pretzels. The servers/bartender need better communication we sat for 10 minutes without being spoken to. Lack of professionalism. There are cobwebs and spiders on the ceilings. That should get taken care of

Never thought such a beautiful neighborhood would have such a poorly restaurant in it. Embarrassing. Our server name was Logan, she seems to be a little out of it. Probably should have management check on that… Got waters and she offered to bring us a pitcher because she quoted said “I may be too busy so I brought this over.” With 3 tables inside and 2 out, clearly “busy.” Leaving water marks on the table and not checking on us time to time.

We sat at the bar last Friday afternoon at about six pm. The barmaid took a while to even acknowledge us, and when she did, was not very friendly. She seemed unhappy to even be there. Another man came in and stood at the bar for at least five minutes before the two barmaids acknowledged him. Again, not even a smile. We ordered wings, wine, craft beer, and southwest chicken egg rolls. Couldn’t find the chicken and it was like something that could be found in the frozen food section of Walmart, but the wings were okay. Every server there (other than one) seemed so miserable. It just was not a pleasant experience at all. The barmaid was friendly to people she knew, but not anyone else. We’ll do the food trucks next time and won’t return.

Location and atmosphere is great. There really isn’t much to choose from on the menu. I had a hard time finding something. I finally opted with a chicken salad and the chicken grossed me out. Too many veins for me. Also the vegetables side was a coleslaw type thing which I thought was strange. If you ask me it’s also over priced for what you get.

Tried this places for the first time. Over all, pretty good and I will likely go back. I had the Southwest egg rolls for an app, which were very good. (NOTE: there were only 4 that came with the order, so if you’re sharing, and hungry, these won’t do the trick). I also ordered a blackberry old fashioned, which I liked. Unfortunately, that’s where it went south…For dinner, I got the Lakehouse Burger with fries, ordered medium rare. The burger had so much potential, but it came out med-well and was super dry. The slices of red onion were enormous and overpowered the entire thing. Add to that, the bottom bun was hard and too bready for a burger this dry. Having said that, the flavors were otherwise good, but I pretty disappointed with the burger. The fries were great and cooked perfectly. My server was fine, but she didn’t know the food at all. I asked for recommendations on both the appetizer and entree and both times she said she hadn’t tried anything I asked about. Maybe it was her first day? The ambiance is great and the restaurant and bar are both very nice. I’ll give them another shot for sure. Hopefully next time is better, particularly from the kitchen.

Our first time here so we were eager to check it out. The atmosphere is very pleasant and our server Olivia was even more so! Upon asking for some menu & drink preferences, she gave very helpful advice. The drinking were excellent and very tasty, as was each element of our meal. Upside: great food and atmosphere! Downside: Well…not a huge downside but our entrees came out a tad bit too soon as we were not even half way through our apps. Regardless, we are coming back for lunch and dinner very soon. A very positive dining experience!

This is our go-to neighborhood spot. Great service from a staff that remembers us every time. Tasty, reliable quality food. I enjoy the shrimp tacos, shrimp basket, and the chicken piccata. My wife really likes the salmon, fried fish, and wedge salad. Also, you can beat those views of Lake Babcock and great atmosphere.
