Just was really looking forward to eating here after seeing the menu weeks beforehand. There’s no obvious sign for knowing if there is table service, nor what the choices of soup of the day, nor the daily pie flavors. And there was suppose to be pear hard cider. When I asked for a cider, the young girl at the counter asked ‘what size’…? There was only one size can… The hot entrées were warmed in the microwave, making the crust of the quiche just mushy and the interior hot enough to burn. The other entrée that was ordered was quite skimpy. I can see why it’s empty of customers.

The sandwiches were just what we wanted and delicious. Perfect little place for lunch. The homemade cinnamon roll with maple cream cheese is phenomenal.

I’ve never left a review about anywhere before but this was so bad I had to. A $15 sandwich had a dried out piece of turkey and an old soggy lettuce leaf between 2 extremely dried out petrified pieces of bread, it wasn’t even worth $3 and the date bar was hard as a rock, all garbage. All I can hope is people who try to rip-off the public like this place go out of business & go bankrupt, in the meantime all I can do is tell everyone I know to stay away. Unfortunately a black eye for the nursery & potential customers there too.

Looked forward to our annual Christmas lunch at the Skagit. New owners. New chef. The articles in the local paper described a great chef and new menu.
