It is August 13 at 6:45 and we just left this place. I didn’t get their names – the host was this blonde, blue eyed, a little older woman and the cook was a young white male, who was wearing a hat. Anyways, we were treated so well when we visited and it is our first time. We camp at Barview every year, but today we decided to just go fishing for the day since it’s super hot in Portland. The food was delicious and as I’ve said, we were treated so well. It was myself, my husband and our 2 young children. We will be back, thanks for the great food and service guys. See you next time.

This is a pool bar done right. The bartenders are always friendly and quick with a drink, plus, you can’t beat great food and free pool. The new owners have spiffed up the place and leaned into the character this local staple has always had. If you’re a biased regular (like me) or just looking for a place to pass the time, touch down at The Landing.

Our server was professional, personable, charming and lovely. She added to the experience. We were served quickly, the food was hot. Made In America breakfast. For it’s location, a tourism driven town, the price was reasonable. I thought it was money well spent. The bathroom was clean. I didn’t check the ladies room. Comfortable ambiance. Quaint little town. Tip your servers. When I come back, I’ll know this place is worthy. Five stars!

Since being bought by new owners, the landing has become one of my favorite places again! The staff are so friendly and John and Jacob the new owners are a pleasure to chat with! Can’t forget the amazing super Sam that makes awesome drinks and always has a smile when people walk in! So excited to see what’s to come for the new and improved LANDING!

My children and I went to enjoy a nice dinner here and we rather enjoy the experience. Sierra (I’m sure I butchered the spelling) was amazing and has a great personality!! The food tasted pretty good as well. Only request would be salt and pepper at the table. When we come back for a visit, this will be a place we come back to.

Always had good service and a great atmosphere. 3 sandwiches 1 salad and 3 drinks over $100.00. The waitress/bartender couldn’t even come and check on us or bring us the check. Went to go pay she was talking to some couple about living out of a duffel bag at her grandma and then complaining about her grandmother. Told her I wanted my bill she printed it out not 1 look at me still complaining about her life to the couple. The bar has a flood of who knows what on it so my receipt was wet and not even a thank you. Well look in to see who’s working next time. Won’t go back if she’s there.
