The brunch at Landmark restaurant is a wonderful experience. The atmosphere and setting is calm and charming and reminding me of being of slipping in comfortable leather chair. The food was high quality. I will definitely dine there again during my next stay at the Warwick Melrose hotel. The waffle and sausage were delicious.

Very nice and quiet restaurant with a great view of Oak Lawn. Food was great and the customer service was good as well. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner.

We have been dining at The Landmark for special occasions and holidays such as Thanksgiving and Easter for several years now. We have always enjoyed the food and service until this Easter. The food was mediocre at best. Several dishes were barely room temperature such as the Chicken Piccata and veggies. The Eggs Benedict were simply cold. We had guests with us from out of town so just made the best of it. A few hours after our Easter Brunch we both became very ill and it lasted through the night. I emailed the hotel today and I received a very cold response from the general manager. We are very disappointed and based on the response from the general manager, it is unlikely we will return.

We had high expectations and the food was actually pretty good… but the service was PAINFUL. The staff were friendly, but so poorly staffed and took an hour for entrés. For a former fine restaurant, our server had the knowledge and skill of a weak Denny’s server. They made mistakes that were too many to count. Brought the wrong wine, had NO idea about the wine list and I had to get up and find someone 3-4 times because something was not right. We WATCHED 4 other groups of 4-6 people each DEPART before ordering because the server took so long to either A) Bring their drinks, or B) Greet them. >>>Management needs to start with a whole new staff. Really a shocking experience for a “nice hotel” and what was intended to be fine dining. Ouch.

The ambience of the hotel has a feel of classic upscale New York that carries over to this restaurant. I’ve received old-fashioned doorman style service from valets, hosts, and servers consistently. I personally love the quiet charm. I think the validated valet is new–it was nice going for a great meal and not have to park down the street. The food is great to extraordinary, well-timed and over-portioned. Thank goodness for takeout. The Black Angus ribeye was truly memorable, and the Roasted Yellow Tomato Bisque is still the best I’ve ever had. From the crab cakes to the ricotta cake, The Landmark makes an excellent date night dinner destination.

Let me start by saying the breakfast Togo was wonderful. The dinner not so much. There was no hostess and our server sat us. After he sat us the next people arrived and waited at the hostess stand for at least 5 minutes before someone realized they were even there. We were there over an hour and a hostess never was there. Our server seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing. And wasn’t familiar with the dishes. He was not familiar on any gluten free dishes and I have an allergy. The salad was something I could’ve makd at home easily and the meal took forever. All the food was average at best and our 140 dollar tab should have been 50 for what the food actually was.

We always enjoy eating dinner at the Landmark and we had a great time with our friends. The menu is a little limited although I always find something on the menu that we like. My wife ordered the tenderloin and it was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I ordered the Halibut with some modifications since I can’t eat seafood. There was some hesitancy on this one and it came out without the vegetables that were part of the dish. I also ordered the whipped potatoes with it which also was missing; instead I was given a serving of diced pan fried potatoes. The Halibut and potatoes were very tasty.

Our Party of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids) went for Christmas Brunch for the 2nd year in a row and the experience was spectacular and delightful…we felt the joy of the season dining here! The food was delish and loved by all ages, the selection wonderful (there was something for everyone!) and the presentation very nice. Love the atmosphere and ambiance of this charming restaurant. Service was 5 star and the Manager Gene is absolutely awesome! He personally came to our table and we had a great Christmas conversation! My 82 year old Dad (who paid the bill!) absolutely raved about brunch and tipped big! Thank you to Gene and all of the staff at the Landmark for making our Christmas even brighter…twinkly and whimsical!

The food was fantastic but the service was terrible. A group of us stayed at the hotel celebrating a bachelorette party. We had a reserved dinner and for the most part everything was great, until we needed the check. We waited over 30 minutes until we finally had to flag someone down. It was one check and the restaurant was not busy. The next morning we went down for brunch, also having a reservation. Drinks took about 15 minutes and the food took over an hour. It was a group of 8. Very disappointed, especially at a hotel like this. Was somewhat embarrassed since I had been the one to plan the dinner and brunch.
