This place is a must visit!! The octopus was absolutely amazing with the merguez sausage truly a flavor experience to have! The TLW plate was a fun twist on Lomo that was delicious and really enjoyed the 2 sauces served with the great yucca truffle fries. The live jazz on Sunday nights was enjoyable too.

Overpriced, small portions, weak drinks. Had a vodka cocktail and it was 80% ice, couldn’t even taste the alcohol. Had to settle for the stronger prosecco for the next drink. Ordered the Thai Crispy Brussels next, which sounds good on paper with “Thai Glaze”, but in reality is nothing more than brussel sprouts drowned in soy sauce; they were super salty and mostly inedible. Tried the Fried Chicken Sliders, which were OK but had dark meat instead of white meat and I actually bit into part of a bone that was not removed properly. The one saving grace was the Beer Braised Short Rib which tasted great, however I would’ve preferred more rib meat within the dish, and the portion was extremely small for $26. I am rarely this critical, but I was highly disappointed overall, and will not be coming back.

Probably the best Peruvian food I’ve had on Long Island. I really enjoyed the craft cocktails and the awesome food. The service was excellent and they were very friendly. I think my favorite was the ceviche. It was so fresh. Huge drink menu and some excellent cocktails also.

The Last Word is a very trendy Peruvian fusion bar. The bar staff are professional and the bar is maintained well. The drinks were phenomenal however the bar food to snack on was ok. I would say the ceviche needs improvement while the chicken tacos were good. I would recommend this place if one wants to stop by to chill and drink

My wife and I went here on a Tuesday night. The bar was packed when we arrived, so we decided to sit in the back by ourselves. The waiter/bartender came over right away and helped us, plus she told us it was “trivia night”! After hearing it was trivia night we decided to move our seat to the front, and join the fun!! This decision ended up being one of the best decisions we have made in a LONG time! Everyone was friendly and it changed the vibe from a “quick dinner” to a “wonderful night out”!
