I ordered parihuela for my mother and ordered myself a chaufa de mariscos and honestly the food was not good the soup had more yuca than anything else and I have never once seen a parihuela look orange and carry less seafood than anything else…my chaufa had no flavor I may not be Peruvian but I have never experienced Peruvian food like this first and last..

I ordered through uber eats and it was on time which this is why I’m giving it 1 star. I ordered the chk and beef empanada and they were very greasy, I also ordered chicken lomo saltado and chicken arrow chaufa. Coming from a Puerto Rican and Peruvian background I expected for the food to have flavor but I was very dissapointed. My husband only had 3 pieces of chicken on his lomo saltado like c’mon now.

The lomo saltado had almost no meat… all rice and fries. The arroz chaufa with chicken had had chicken, sakty, and it was basically white rice with a little bit of salty soy to give it a beige look instead of white. I have yet to find a good spot for peuvian near me. I would rather drive to pollo chevere in passsic ( the big one) and get the best tasting saltado and chaufa. My absolute favorite place.

The Jalea was horrible! The calamari tasted like it had been frozen for years, there was more yuca then seafood, there was no octopus and the fish tasted very fishy. Bottom line I would never order from here again.

The soup and the bistek a lo pobre was serious. It is a shame that I can not order suddenly. My engineering duties for the Army force me to relocate. However, I always visit once in a while.
