This place is amazing. The aesthetic is really nice and has the boricua spirit. The staff is so welcoming & kind, and the food is amazing!! I had arroz con gandules y Pernil, and its the real deal, can’t get more classic than that. The fruit smoothies are fresh and taste incredible! Being a born and raised Nuyorican, I can say this brings me back home to the Bronx.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and the perfect Cuban sandwich, can you ask for more?? My family stumbled upon this gem after walking from Hollins Mill park and it was just what the doctor ordered. The nectar drink we had was refreshing and nostalgic all in one. The yucca fries were excellent and the sandwiches were perfect, we all left happy and full! If you enjoy good food that you can’t just buy anywhere come here and live a little.

First, this place wins points simply for being the only Puerto Rican restaurant in Lynchburg. However, for those who are better acquainted with Puerto Rican cuisine, it’s subpar. I wouldn’t even complain about the price point if the food was better seasoned and the the plantain cups and yuca fries weren’t dry. I love the location and I love to support minority business, but I’m sad to say the the food is overall lack luster.
