On Thursday 8/10 We had gone to a so called taco restaurant that had a very long wait and I had asked the hostess who was very kind if there was any other place that might not be so busy and she recommended the Leavitt Theater. This was also a place that my son had looked up prior in regard to going and checking the place out because they have shows and movies. So we went there we sat outside at a table and we were greeted by someone we thought was a waiter, but it ended up being the owner, and he was extremely nice and very helpful. After he gave us advice and took our drink order we were greeted by a waiter. He was very very nice and helpful as well. Menu was small yet that is a good thing because it’s easier to choose. Food was delicious. It started raining and the owner and waiter immediately moved us under the archway. Would also like to compliment the counter woman. She was always smiling and gladly sold my son some candy. Great experience. Unique Restaurant/Bar/Comedy Club/Theater all rolled into one.

My wife and I were excited to go to the Leavitt and have a delicious meal. They did not disappoint! Food was fantastic! Well seasoned and balanced. The cocktails were excellent as well. We were able to sit out front and enjoy the world going by. I highly recommend!

I popped in to check out the Leavitt after catching a show at the Ogunquit Playhouse and the combination of the aesthetic vibe of the old school movie house with the quality of the drinks was enough to leave me very impressed.

we went for the first time by chance ,a band was bringing in their equipment so we struck up a conversation with them. Next thing I know I am walking in with them a guitar amp in my hands. the staff was excellent as was the theatre . Two bars one upstairs and one down stairs with a good selection and reasonable prices. Looking forward to going back.

Historic silent movie theater of Ogunquit. OMG, the smash burger! Top five best burgers I’ve ever had, hmm, maybe top three. Phenomenal food, location, atmosphere, historical significance. A shout out to MAX – My wife, friends and I had a lovely evening. Thank you for putting in the work, the effort of maintaining such a unique experience. We’ll be back in May!

I attended an event here this past weekend and thought both the venue and staff were phenomenal. They were helpful, kind, and the snack counter staff were always so friendly. I adored the fact they used actual butter, and I loved I could hop across the hall for an adult drink to go with it. The hot spiked cider was a whole experience! Despite the crowd, everything was always super clean, and the theater just had so much charm. MANY thanks to our hosts, you’re the best! ❤️
