GOOD LAWD probably the best meal (& experience) we’ve ever had. The only issue was the inconsistent service (i.e. the couple who were sat after us but were served their cocktails before we were), but I would imagine this isn’t an ongoing issue. WHEN we were served, the service was great.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars was for the service and atmosphere.. I ordered the Angus Beef braised short ribs. When I see ribs, plural, I expect several ribs..For $49 I doubt I was served a whole short rib. I was served 5 thinly sliced pieces. The meat had no flavor and no fat running through it! Which is the best part of beef short ribs!!… thats where the flavor is! This was more like meat from a roast. I was told the ribs are brined and braised in a low oven for many hours in all the juices… Hard to believe.. Totally not worth the price charged!

It’s difficult nowadays to find a restaurant that rises above the hype and expectations. This one does just that. I was really surprised by the food quality, the pleasant vibe, and delicious flavors. Each dish we tried was simply excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had the bison filet, it was absolutely delicious. The meal was pricey for the two of us, but when it tastes that good, you just don’t mind.

Wow. Just WOW! The environment of this restaurant is so cozy! They have real chefs working in the kitchen. If you stay at the Sapphire Resort, The Library is just a short drive. Maybe half a mile. You could walk on a nice day. But let’s get to the food! SO FRESH. If you like Whole Foods and organic, this is the place! The entire staff treats you like family. Our waitress was the sweetest! She even offered to take a photo for my husband and I. It’s very clean. If you follow my reviews, you know I’m a stickler about cleanliness.

Amazing experience! Great food and ambiance. Vegan option was delicious. Chef made a visit to the table and hostess was so friendly and welcoming! Family run and operated. Wonderful with kids. Gave kids tour of kitchen. Adrianne was very attentive and friendly. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Five stars all around!

Adrianne was fabulous, and fun, guiding us to the perfect small plates, entreees and wine pairings. Would have given the food five stars except that my husband’s steak was way over cooked. If 3/4 of a star was possible, that’s what I would have added for 4 3/4 stars. When we pointed it out, they were more than mortified and took care of it. My grouper was perfection! Our overall experience was phenomenal and we’ll be back next time we’re in Cashiers.

We felt lucky we were able to reserve a spot for dinner the same day we called. We sat in the high chairs area, in the back. In the middle between the bar and the kitchen was much livelier. The popcorn was surprisingly tasty. The salad was pretty good. My veggie lentil stew like was very tasty. But my hubby order the grouper and yucca fries (elevate fish and chips ) and that was awesome, good enough to return just for that. We also had dessert, the bread pudding made of croissants and chocolate, it was good but not $18 good. Coffee was strong and smooth. Very good experience overall.

Almost perfect! What a great find! This restaurant is operated by a world class chef and the food shows it. The food was prepared excellently and each entree was unique and showed the artistry of the Chef. His partner is a financier and artist whose interesting art adorn the walls. The restaurant has a interesting back story worth researching. The service was excellent. We arrived as they were opening and the chef was out front picking herbs for tonights meal. The hostess promptly greeted us and escorted us to our table. Our server, Marina was personable and very efficient. The ambiance was interesting and pleasant. The rating would be 5-star except for one quirk. This is a high end restaurant – dinner for two without alchol and before gratuity was $165.35. A fair price for the quality of food and service we received. What is annoying is that a restaurant of this calibur would charge a $3.78 convenience fee for use of a credit card. At the price point of this restaurant, the fee is quite pettie. We are looking forward to our next visit.

One of the best meals we have had in a long time! The atmosphere is perfect…on this rainy evening they had the fireplace lit for a cozy setting. If you were interested in a bit more upbeat, socializing atmosphere, the center room with bar and view of kitchen looked ideal. The white asparagus soup was incredible and the trout was the best we’ve ever had. Service was excellent! Truly, a five star plus experience! Thank you!!
