Awesome little barbecue joint. Has lots of bar seating as well as some tables. I couldn’t pass up their loaded baked potato, it was very good. I got the hot barbecue sauce, and it’s really sweet. If I had any suggestions for this place it would be to have a sauce option that’s a bit less sweet. Other than that minor nit, I enjoyed everything. The place is clean, people nice, and food is good.

Great food, and atmosphere! Not a very big fan of their mashed potatoes, seem to be instant. Also their meat could use a little more smoke, but otherwise easy entrance and exit. It could also use a remodel. Would come again when we are in the area.

Pretty decent barbecue. I’ve had much better, but also much worse. The hot sauce was a bit sweet but I was fine with that. Overall, the barbecue was dry and there was hardly any sauce on my sandwich. It was also cold by the time I got it home, but that could’ve been due to the ten minute drive. The atmosphere is alright. It’s a small building but it utilizes the space well. The owner likes to put his political beliefs on the walls. The sign on the bathroom door wasn’t particularly welcoming. I probably won’t be back, but I didn’t have the worst experience.

Not impressed at all. Expected much more from an award winning Barbecue Restaurant. The chicken was CHOPPED up boneless, skinless breast meat, pure white, doubt it ever even saw or smelt smoke with some sauce drizzled over it. If you like potatoes and some pickle, you will love the POTATO SALAD, right out of the can baked beans, no meat for seasoning. If you want Barbecued ribs, not the place to go, like many of the so called BARBEQUE JOINTS, they do not serve RIBS, they try to pass off a row of PORK CHOP BONES, cut right off the pork loin for RIBS. A hog only has one set of ribs I have had MUCH BETTER BARBECUE FROM A FOOD TRUCK‼️The young lady that waited on me was semi knowledgeable, but obviously would have rather been anywhere but at work. Nice on inside of the restaurant really cute. I ordered a pound of barbecue baked beans. When I got home, I noticed that there was pieces of chicken on top of the barbecue kind of weird but the main important thing is the barbecue was very bland dry I really didn’t have much of a flavor baked beans tasted like pork and beans heated up. The bbq sauce that I was gave I’m not really sure if it’s just something out of a bottle from Walmart or if they make it there self it taste like something that just came from Walmart nothing special so my review is to say very disappointed and will not return.

Paid almost $9 for a turkey and dressing plate that had at most 2-3 tablespoons of food. Gave a $3 tip as requested. Got home saw the joke at that price and asked to exchange. Owner said fine, I selected sandwich plate and after 15 minutes I received. HE ASKED FOR $2.19 DIFFERENCE!!! Forget my lunch, 40 minutes of wait, 2 trips at these gas prices and what turned out to be terrible BBQ. No flavor but ok if quantity was good “IT WASN’T”. Nope you get more meat off a frozen fritter at the grocery store…
