Great little place with live music, good drinks, good service, excellent food, but limited seating and parking get there early. Also called McDermott’s Boston Bar, which confused me when I looked it up online. Also, they had three TV screens going all with the same monster truck rally thing, it would have been nice if one of them had been tuned to the Women’s World Cup.

The food on the main menu is always very good. We have had a number of the dishes. I would chicken picatta is a bit soupy but taste good. We had a bad order of Gnocchi that came cold. The service tends to be very slow and inattentive. The wine menus lacks a great selection of local wines…well just a selection of good wines period. The bar is very fun and staff is very friendly and attentive but be selective on the days you go for happy hour. The chicken wings are not wings at all they are small boneless chicken strips.

This place is amazing! You can truly tell that they care about creating a wonderful customer experience! Our server Heather was top level. She was on top of everything. She clearly enjoys her job and wants her patrons to have a good experience here. The food was top notch as well. I had the chicken parmigiana. Kudos to the kitchen staff. Came here tonight for the first time. Came for a friend’s birthday. We were a party of 12 total. We came basically end of the evening and were the last people remaining in the restaurant by the time everyone had eaten. My husband and I, were the first to arrive from the group. We were also the first to place food orders. Despite being the first two orders of the group, we somehow managed to recieve our food, dead last.

Excellent food and fast friendly service. Great atmosphere. Reasonably priced for the top quality food. I never thought there could be a restaurant this good out in the sticks! Highly recommend, even for a quick bite on your lunch break.

Pretty good and great little gem. Only have been twice, but my family loves the pizza. I’d rate the pastas a 8 or 9 out of 10. Really enjoy the atmosphere in the bar and outside. Service is a solid 9.

The food is good, however, last time I was there we received a 5% BOH fee. It is not stated that you will be paying an extra tax. Unfortunately the waitress, who was excellent, only got a 15% tip. This sort of tax does nothing but cut the 20% tip the waitress deserves and irritate the patron.

Having been driving past this corner for three decades and seeing small business come and go, I came in with few expectations. We arrived as two bands were taking turns entertaining on the patio and ordered. The food was excellent and service was quick. We will be back!

I’ll start by saying I used to love The Place. Their Friday and Saturday night lasagna was the best around, well worth the admittedly expensive price tag. It used to be layer upon layer of amazing homemade pasta with amazing sauce and cheese.
