Doodles liked the pizza. Sauce was good, crust was great but the underside was too thin and made the entire pizza flimsy. Inner pizza just fell in on itself. The cheese was a little off in texture and flavor. We ordered take out and from oven to plate was under 15 minutes. Maybe that was too long. Restaurant looked cool and we hope to visit in the near future. Also, prices are a bit high.

I’ll be coming back. Good beer and drink selection. Pizzas were tasty and filling and so were the pickled veggies. There is more on the menu that I need to try. Some friends are regulars here and love the place. They walked in the door by happenstance while I was eating and before too long they had drinks in front of them that they never ordered. That’s good service in my book.

Neatly tucked away in the sleepy suburban neighborhood of Lake Forest Park, The Local 104 is the quintessential spot for dinner and drinks. With its modern industrial vibe, open kitchen and expansive bar-the whole experience is decidedly cool. Known for their unique neo-Neopolitan pizza, select European ingredients and wood fired pizza oven, the owners have created a special place that is both date night worthy and family friendly all at once. Wear your jeans, grab your down jacket- it’s casual here. There’s patio seating with festival lights, heaters and a gas fireplace. So fun! In the summer, the garage doors roll up to create an easy outdoor feeling that is inviting and east coast reminiscent. Order a pizza for sure. We love the Pat Kane with the house made meatballs, grana padano, basil and charred onion. We always order the wedge salad with locally sourced blue cheese and house cured lardon. This time we also tried the ricotta fritters and loved every bite! Specialty cocktails? You bet! Plus an extensive selection of high quality wine and rotating local beer and cider. Susan Says…this one’s a winner! ❤️

Charlotte oh Charlotte (pizza with arugula on top) when can we meet again?! The flavor of your vibrant cheese transported me back to Sienna, Italy where all the ingredients were fresh and amazing! We tried the ricotta fritters, and by themselves they were okay, but with the pomodora sauce, that has a little kick, it was wonderful. We got the meatballs to go which were awesome.

Great pizza, great location, nice staff and amazing atmosphere to the restaurant. I love the music vibe and the oven is unique. I love the lighting and colors of the kitchen and wood. The bathrooms are gorgeous, the smell is amazing and pleasant. It’s a great place 10/10 coming here again!

A little out of the way but worth a trip for these fantastic pizzas with amazing cheese and creative mussels with an amazing tomato based sauce under the bread topping

I read about this place on some news article, they said they age the dough a few days before they made the pizza so that interested me.

If you are dining alone, you’re definitely going to be seated at the bar. I’ve gone to Local 104 probably about 10 times now, sometimes with my partner and sometimes without. The service I receive when dining alone is noticeably worse than when I go with my partner, and it starts with the hostess. Last night was the last straw: I stayed for about 30 minutes and stared at three empty tables the entire time I was there. The pizza is pretty good, but I’ll probably go somewhere that makes me feel more welcomed.

Finally made it here for dinner after driving by so frequently, and wow am I bummed I didn’t come sooner! I made a reservation for 6:45pm but my prior engagement finished early and the friendly host was happy to seat us at 6:00. The outdoor patio isn’t completely shaded so be forewarned if you are sunlight averse and make a reservation for outside. I was fine, and the sun retreated as dinner went on.
