We went on a Sunday evening and were seated right away. The atmosphere was casual and could be great for date night, family meal, or meeting friends. If you’re not hungry, you can also sit at the bar. Our server was new, but she was awesome! She made menu suggestions, checked on us often, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing. I forgot to take pictures of the hummus and bread appetizer, but it was SO good! The hummus has a little kick. Everything we got was delicious. See pics.

Went for a Sunday brunch. No wait. Sat outside and it was pleasant, spacious. Has a full bar and looks like fun at night. Brunch menu was limited and more or an early lunch but changing this week. The Belgian waffle was inexpensive, but plain and no offering for additional toppings. Avocado toast was over cooked and lacked flavor but a nice presentation. Overall I would give this another try especially with a new menu.

My friends and I came to The Local after hanging out on the beach. We stopped by Sunday around lunch time, the weekend before the 4th of July, and we didn’t have to wait at all to get an inside table. The vibe was very cool and chill, a nice atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and polite. I ordered the Steak and Eggs, which was one of the more expensive items at $24, and it was so, so good. My eggs and steak were both cooked perfectly to what I requested (over medium and medium rare), and were delicious. The raspberry au jus was yummy, but my steak was so good I didn’t even want to use it. The truffle potato cakes were interesting; I ate them with ranch, and loved them. I didn’t have any leftovers because I ate it all while I was there, it was too tasty. (My friends ordered the Full Duval and the Brunch Burger, and spoke praises about those as well.) For the quality of food, and for the location, I feel like the prices are extremely fair. I would definitely come here again!

Love this place great quality food highly recommend coming here and trying out there food it’s amazing my favorite is the hendrix burger…wow. 10 out of 10 definitely delicious they serve alcohol as well

Although restaurant was slow hostess took a while to be present and seat us. Irish coffee was okay. Very strong, not the best taste with the whip cream, as good as it looks it didn’t add up for me. The salad was good lacked some much needed flavor. Taco was soggy as they use flour tortillas. I would personally recommend corn with a lot less watery, onion toppings. Very skimpy on the Mahi too, I had to take the fish out and just eat that – it was only one bite.

We came in with a large group after calling hours earlier and were told to come at 5:30. The hostess was not really accommodating. The group organizer is a regular here and loves the place and the food. If I had been treated that coldly and unhelpful, we would have left…but our friends were persistent in getting our group a table. We got seated outside, and our waitress was friendly but new so she missed a few things but was able to easily correct them. The food was yummy and we enjoyed our time.

Grits were extremely salty. The 3 egg breakfast came with 1 egg (photo attached). They have a great concept but it is poorly executed. The service was very good, including the manager who brought over the extra eggs.
